Ingredients: (measurements are per cup)
3/4 cup water
1/4 cup milk
2 green cardamom pods
2-3 whole black peppercorns
1/4 teaspoon fennel seeds
1-2 pieces of cinnamon
2 teaspoons loose black tea (we use Assam English Breakfast tea)
Fresh ginger (2-3 slices, skin still on)
Agave (or sugar) for sweetener
Directions:
1. Heat water & milk on medium-high heat.
2. Before it comes to a boil, add fresh ginger & spices.
3. When the milk / water mixture boils, add loose black tea.
4. Turn off the heat and let steep for 2 minutes.
5. Pour mixture into a mug through a sieve to strain out tea leaves and spices.
6. Add Agave or sugar to taste, then getcho freakin drink on.
