Today's Letters: Dear Mr. Loerke, tonight while cooking dinner we opened the windows so we could listen to the rain. I think this made all the difference in our meal. Dear New Books, I can't wait to start reading you. Seeing you sitting there is like staring at a gigantic thunder muffin and blueberry sleet from Earnie's. Dear October, you always bring good things, but this year you're bringing Dallas an International BBQ cook-off. Ps, Husband thinks it would be a good idea if I asked for a smoker for my birthday. Dear Beloved, you are the French of my press, the star of my anise, and the motivation that inspires me to write. Love you more than graph paper and kite string.
