Husband's Letters: Dear Mrs. Loerke, this morning you face one of your greatest fears: the dentist! But don't worry, I am getting my teeth cleaned right after you. Wanna get ice cream afterwards? Dear Struggle With Control, you often rob me of my experiences today because you cause me worry about tomorrow. Life is much more free when I trust in the plans that have been laid out for me. Dear Go Bag, you have all the essentials: scrubs, t-shirt, socks, shoes, deodorant - everything I'd need to hop on a plane and bring back a heart for a transplant surgery. I hope I get the call. Dear Emma, I love it when you leave me notes in my pocket. Even when I find them after I get home from work.

Husband says, fill in the blank: I'd rather be doing ___________ than going to the dentist.

HAPPY FREAKIN WEEKEND! Be sure and check back later today for our FIST PUMP FRIDAY photos!

I'd rather be LISTENING TO MUSIC than going to the dentist. Then again my Dentist is actually an elder of the church I go to and as well as that he sings along to the radio while he checks your teeth - it's so funny. He's actually kinda famous for it too lol. Well at least round these parts he is lol.

I love that you're so open about control. You and Em have been such encouragement for us thru our "control" issues. :) Oh, and I'd rather be BLOGGING! :)

Our dentist has a TV & warm neck wraps, so it's pretty tolerable. But why do they always try to talk to you? One of life's unanswered questions.

I LOVE getting my teeth cleaned at the dentist. They always do a much better job than me! Probably because they get to use the sharp, pointy objects they always tell us not to use.

Got my teeth cleaned yesterday. Love our dentist but yesterday hurt a touch. I recommend a preemptive strike of Motrin 800 to control the ouch factor. I'd rather be eating something sticky and chocolatey than sitting in the dentist chair, but you can't have one without the other...Good Luck today!

I'd rather be hugging a cactus then going to the dentist!

I would rather be in class than going to the dentist... And that's saying something...

My perfect birthday involves the dentist & a haircut. I LOVE having squeaky clean teeth! However, I did not like it when they found my first cavity 3 years ago.

I feel the same way em does about the dentist! I would rather be doing just about anything than having to wake up and know that today is the day I have to sit in that chair! Em, I am praying for you and I know that you will do GREAT!! And just think... Ice cream is on the way!!!

I would rather be scrubbing the floor or cleaning the toilet...hate the dentist!! (not the actual dentist...just the experience)

Hey, my 22 year old neice was visiting last week and I shared your blog with her. She texted me for your web address not 24 hours after she landed back in Omaha, I think she's hooked!!

erika, no i know where you get your gorgeous grill.

zigzag, i must have sensitive teeth. BUT i am thankful that i've become an avid flosser this past year and a half. not near as painful.

stacy, ice cream. in mah bellay.

deanna & cassie, ha! two fist pumps for making me laugh.

I think I'm kind of an oddball...I LOVE going to the dentist. I think it's to do with having had the same man take care of my pearly whites since before I had them. He was checking the flouride level in the water while I was still doing back flips in utero. Hope it went well.
