Today's Letters: Dear Mr. Loerke, before we met I had never eaten a hot dog from Home Depot, received medical journals in the mail, or known the smell of Old Spice deodorant. Love these things about you. Dear Zero 7, Swing is the most played song on my iPod these days. Can't go wrong with a bit of Sufjan, a little Fiona, and a side of island steel drums. Dear Yann Martel, a shipwreck that leaves Pi stuck in a lifeboat with a zebra, hyena, orangutan, and a 450 lb Bengal tiger named Richard Parker? I give you the master story teller award. Dear Husband, I think your rotations countdown is fantastic. Today's was especially good. I think I maybe might have a crush on #53.

I'm so glad you like Life of Pi! It's an amazing book. Have you read The Kite Runner? If not, I recommend it.
In other news, it's probably weird for me to comment for the first time on such an old post, but may as well, I suppose. I really love your blog and have been so inspired while reading it over the past few days. Can I ask if having so much of your private lives on the internet has had negative effects on your marriage at all?

tim and i are grateful you've enjoyed reading our blog so much! as far as the personal content we share on our blog, it's probably around 20% of normal life. we try and be as authentic as possible without crossing the line. time and i have also spent time working through our personal struggles which has allowed us to share more freely about god's grace and the work he's done in our marriage. xoxo!
