Today's Letters

Today's Letters: Dear Mr. Loerke, yesterday I got to ask for your forgiveness three times. THREE TIMES. Is that a new record? (Ps, beyond grateful for your grace). Dear Weekend, usually you are marked by good food, a clean house, rest, a foreign film, and time outside with dear friends. Thanks for always being the favorite part of my week. Dear LaraBar, are you really going to retire your pistachio protein bar of amazingness? Had I known I may not have eaten my last two for lunch. Dear Husband, sometimes when you're not feeling well I like to climb on you and make funny faces. I know you may not believe me, but this is the best kind of medicine. From the 1's to the 12's...

I had to apologize to my Mr. several times yesterday! Sometimes I can't believe he continues to love and show me grace, but isn't it awesome that this earthly glimpse is so powerful yet only a glimpse of Christ's love for us?

asking for forgiveness sounds so serious, like you've really done something wrong. is it that serious when you do it?

rach, it's honestly more humbling than anything. we ask for each other's forgiveness all the time in addition to saying i'm sorry, so it's really not as serious as it may sound. great question!
