Today we ...

Left on a jet plane for Seattle.

Played with our free eye patches at our hotel.

Visited the Seattle Public Library.

Rode the escalator up to the 8th floor.

Saw the highest viewpoint.

And hid something AWESOME in this book.

Let us know if you find it! (See How to Appreciate Prints by Weithenkampf, pg 53).

Then we stopped at Bottega for some Mocha and Stracciatella gelato.

And fell in love with this Antique Shop near Pikes Market.

We maybe might have purchased some of these.

And lusted after lots of these.

Later, we ended up walking HERE for dinner.

Where they fed us loads of crab, shrimp, clams, and mussels.

Which we gladly ate our weight in. Oh yes we did.

Then we watched the sunset on Pier 57.

Got our photo taken at Miners Landing.

Visited the Gum Wall in Post Alley.

Left our mark.

And headed back to our hotel for some much needed rest.

If tomorrow is half as good as today was then the Mr. and I might. just. have. to. relocate. Seattle has captured our hearts.

Today we ...

Started off the day with a Chai Latte from Victrola Coffee.

Met Brett who took us on a food & cultural tour of Pikes Market.

Filled our bellies at the Daily Dozen Doughnut Company.

Drank Ceylon Spice Tea and learned about Saffron. Did you know it is the most expensive spice in the world? ($2,800 per pound). That's a lot of Benjamin's.

We also saw beautiful flowers.

Watched the boys throw fish.

Walked on purple boxes of amazingness.

Ate raspberries a la opening montage of Amelie.

Tried handmade cheese at Beecher's.

Sampled the best clam chowder and seafood bisque we've EVER had.

And fell in love with these buskers outside of the original Starbucks.

After our tour we stopped by Patagonia and picked up the one thing we forgot to pack ... our beloved Frisbee.

Then we walked to Belltown Pull-Apart and rented bicis.

And rode to Gas Works Park which made me so happy.

Ps, isn't Husband sexy in his helmet?

After tossing the bee, we visited the Fremont Troll.

And went to Homegrown for our long dreamed about Reuben sammy.

After lunch, we maybe might have stopped by Top Pot for a Maple bar.

And got ice cream at Molly Moon's near Capitol Hill. Maybe ...

While walking back to our hotel we saw Seattle in waffle form.

And noticed three upcoming shows at the Paramount. Please tell us that some of you are WSP, Avett Bros, and Neil Young fans? This may have just sealed the deal on a west coast move (in our minds of course).

Tomorrow we leave for Alaska. Here's to eating our way through another state.

As if you weren't interesting and exciting enough, hearing that you're Avett fans seals the deal for me. I'm officially adding you to my bookmarks bar. Also, if you've never seen them live, do it! No words can describe how amazing they are... just like no words can describe how much I love this blog.
