Today's Letters: Dear Mr. Loerke, less than two weeks until we're touring the Alaskan glaciers in a sea kayak. First person to spot Free Willy gets a free Chick-Fil-A milkshake. Dear Frozen Grapes, you taste just like candy. That is why you make the perfect breakfast. Dear Friends, I don't think I've ever seen so many fist pumps and leg kicks at the Rusty Taco before. Thanks for making yesterday so memorable. Dear Husband, last night when I climbed into the biscuit you said I had a disease called "lion-fur-kinesis." Then you told me to get on the operating table so you could remove it. My response: I like my disease. Please don't touch it.

Ps, Cbird will give anyone a high five and a sock in the gut if you can spot her well loved Woobie in this photo.

"Lion-fur-kinesis"???? When did I say this? I must have been in a coma last night. I slept really hard last night. I will spare you the operation, then...since I have never heard of that diagnosis :-)

Em - a couple observations:

1. Vegan cake is good
2. I would not want to be on the receiving end of a J. McKee leg kick.

What do I need to do to be your friend in real life?

p.s. My boyfriend and I made a fort in your honor:) And I'm making him do a tim tam slam with me as soon as I can find them. Any suggestions?

p.p.s If this weirds you out, just ignore it:)

herebedragons, i had blueberries this morning as well! heading to baily's to pick our own in a couple of weeks. nothing better ...

b, so grateful you hauled the troops to rusty taco last night. i have cbirds card sitting on our dining room table. it reminds me to notice the birds (esp the blue ones).

michelle, it was indeed amazing! prob my favorite yet.

husband, i'm hoping to be disease free tonight. or at least have an illness that can be cured with kisses on my forehead.

tyroch, a couple of observations: 1, tyroch & steph are so smitten they must be getting married soon. 2, carlos could kick jackie chan's butt.

hannah, a fort really? i love it! check out world market for arnott's tim tam's. http://www.worldmarket.com/product/index.jsp?productId=3624277 ... you can also buy them off of amazon but they are $$$. let me know how it goes!

nicole, great suggestion, esp since bingers are in season. thanks!

at one point they had tim tams at Target... not sure if they still do, though. and they were not the REAL DEAL ones. a fair imitation, but an imitation nonetheless. i think pepperidge farms might have made 'em? maybe i have the same disease tim does, though, where i talk outta my butt late at night? ;)

speaking of: we thought that this weekend was Father's Day, so I'd asked my Tim what he wanted for dinner and dessert and he told me. Last night, oddly enough, I said to him "Dude. Father's Day = not this weekend. We CAN celebrate it this weekend if you'd like, but I think we should wait." and he said, "yeah, that sounds okay. but when are they going to deliver the meat?" and I just sorta *blink, blink* ??? at him. He looked at me all wild eyed and said, "WHAT IN THE HELL AM I TALKING ABOUT" and went back to sleep. He does not remember this today. True story.

YAY WEEKEND! Have fun, you guys. Do something silly. Do something daring. Kiss a lot. Hold hands and smile at old couples doing the same. Maybe you should try flying your woobie like a kite.

sara, love it! boy roommates can say the craziest things when they have one foot in sleepytown and one in realty. ps, one time woobie was tied to a flagpole in branson, mo. he really can fly!
