Today's Letters: Dear Mr. Loerke, my first thought this morning: I'm so grateful husband always puts the toilet seat down when he goes to the bathroom. Does he know this blesses me more than Swiffered floors and aluminum foil covered drip pans? Dear Rain, sometimes you cause unexpected gifts to stick to my toes. Thanks for reminding me that you bring more to Dallas than just humidity. Dear Paint Underneath My Fingernails, yesterday you helped create the most rockin banner for the McKeaigg family garage sale. Here's to adoption and to having bedazzled digits. Dear Husband, you are the Rockridge of my Crunch, the port of my wine, and the Arc' of my Teryx. Love you more than 1,000 horses. Over and out.

i need to know this:

are you ever crabby? do you guys ever fight? (I guess I should say, I am being nosy and I'll understand if you're not really interested in answering me... not that you need permission or anything!)are you always so motivated?

sara, oh we definitely conflict. DEFINITELY. but our fights are less and less frequent the more we grown in our communication with one another. it's something we work at constantly - some days are easier than others, but we are committed to figuring things out. as far as being motivated, i asked the mr. and he said yes. i know i don't always feel motivated to do things, but usually end up making them happen. i see each day is a gift (we're not promised tomorrow), so i've always lived by the motto, "make your days count, rather than count your days."
