Today's Letters: Dear Mr. Loerke, today is the LAST DAY of your Family Medicine rotation. As an expression of my love for you I will give you lots of jazz hands, fist pumps, and leg kicks. I will even give you Riverdance. Dear Ziploc Full of Crumbs, you once contained homemade birthday cookies sent all the way from Ashland, Oregon. If I mash you all together will you please form another cookie? Dear WMBM, last night was like Christmas when you dropped off a bag full of first fruits from your garden. Sometimes homegrown tomatoes make us do crazy things. Dear Husband, yesterday you spent 2 hours pre-ordering our iPhones. (Insert Lost in Your Eyes by Debbie Gibson here). Thanks for taking care of all things cellular. To the moon!

I just had some of the cherry tomatoes out of my garden this morning! (Debbie Gibson was my very first concert to attend! wow, I am SO old!) Have fun on your Alaskan cruise! I am very envious! but YAY for Fam Med rotation ending!

Riverdance? That's gotta be a sight to see. Does the Mister join in? That's just too addictive not to get sucked into the rhythm.

my husband had the music channel on the other day (dear REAL MTV, we miss you) and Debbie Gibson was on. I watched, with fascination, remembering my hair pulled up in half bits atop my head with a scrunchie and biker shorts under short skirts. What the HECK, 80's, what the heck. :) So much love.

Meanwhile, my husband who is 11 years older (for the record, you'd never know) was a rockstar and well, yeah... he probably wore the same thing.

Happy Tomatoes! Love 'em fresh.

nina, re: mi tatuaje, it says I AM in sanskrit. one of my biggest thorns has always been contentment, not so much being content with the material side of things, but rather being fully present in the now. in fact, my thoughts are often stuck reflecting in the past or worrying about the future. I AM is my favorite name for God because to me it's the perfect example of contentment. whenever we say I AM we always finish our sentence by saying I AM hungry, I AM tired, I AM ready for bed, etc. god never has to finish his sentence with anything because if he did it would imply that he changes, and he doesn't. he is the most consistent thing in my life, and i wanted to be reminded of that daily (which is why i chose to get it on my wrist). so that's the skinny, thanks for asking.

beans & seeds, have you ever seen a gorilla pod? best 30 dollhairs we've ever spent. that and the timer on our camera are our best friend :)

kim, your first concert was debbie gibson? that's awesome! i'm too embarassed to tell you mine, but for now i will give you a hint: wheeen a maaan loves a womaaaaaaan ...
yikes!

neighbor, husband taught me how to riverdance! he's got made skills (just ask chad).

rosie, of course! two (bags of cookies) are always better than one.

sara, you said scrunchie and biker shorts. 2 points for you. xo
