Today's Letters: Dear Mr. Loerke, lately when we've been in a disagreement you'll bust out with, "Don't make me sing" from Kristen Wiig's SNL skit. Who knew that simple phrase could make both of us laugh and bring us back to our senses? Dear Homemade Chicken Salad, since making you on Sunday Tim has A) only spoken in moans and groans when eating B) asked to bathe in you with a gigantic loofah C) been caught sneaking into the fridge at 11pm to stuff his boca or D) all of the above. Dear Fat Tuesday, if I find baby Jesus in our King Cake does that mean I win? Can't wait to dive into your doughy purple, green, and yellow iced ring of AWESOMENESS later. Dear Husband, whenever I catch you vacuuming our vents it makes me wanna make out. Just sayin.

What's your favorite SNL skit? I'll never forget the first time I saw Wayne's World and Hans & Franz!

First- great shirt Tim!
Second- and most importantly, getting the baby in the King cake means you have to bring the next king cake to the next party.
I suppose that you win an invitation, since you are bringing the cake!

Nothin and I do mean NOTHIN' beats What's Up With That? or ESPN Sports Classics. I laugh until I cry. And, What's Up With That? has become a family song and an opportunity to try new dance moves...priceless. xo

That's hilarious! My husband kept saying "Don't make me sing" after Braun did that in the skits at DTown. Love it!

Schweaty Balls is always a classic. Big fan of the ad skits, too, like Oops I Crapped My Pants, Mom Jeans, and the one where the kids mold toys out of used kitty litter... I don't think I could pick just one, although, I am a big fan of just about anything Kristen Wiig is in. She's my imaginary TLA/LYLAS/BFF.

really i prefer the classic SNL i used to watch when i was a little girl, but right now i keep youtubing natalie portman's 'interview' digital short where she busts out in a rap. and also andy samberg's 'gonna be a great day' digital short.

i love tracy morgan as 'brian fellow' also. and his 'astronaut jones' skits.

oh--and anything kristen wiig--esp. the one where she's planning a surprise party with a family and christopher walken is the dad and she gets so excited.

or the 'love toilet' commercial.

or will ferrell and rachel dratch as 'roger and virginia'.

ok, i'll stop. i could go on forever! :0) i love that show!

oh--and i made my first chicken salad of the season yesterday for a girls' lunch at my house! i was so so so excited.

Definitely make out. We have been married twenty years and if I ever caught my husband vacuuming any vents I think I would faint. You are blessed girl.

this is my all time favorite SNL skit. I think that I love it so much because it makes fun of southern women and I could TOTALLY see some women from my home town acting that way or saying something totally like them on the skit! So worth watching:
