Today's Letters: Dear Mr. Loerke, yesterday when my alarm went off during the torrential downpour you rolled over and said I could borrow your rain jacket and gaiters to wear to boot camp. Bonus points for making me feel loved before 5am. Dear Gussy, I've decided to wear nothing but ruffles on Friday in your honor. So grateful to have you featured as our next guest letter writer! Dear Dads, Husbands, Sons & Daughters, pretty sure this necklace would make any mom feel like the shiz wiz on Mother's Day. Just sayin. Dear Timothy James (who always gets two letters), you are the spring of my rain, the sun of my shine, and the Cadbury of my egg. Over and out.

For all you mom's out there, what's been one of your favorite Mother's Day gifts? My friend Cameron once received a plastic spoon and some kite string from her four littles. It was AWESOME. Also, be sure and check back later this afternoon for a special post on Tim's graduation invitations!

{Purchase a silhouette necklace from Lucky Me Beads during the month of April and receive 10% off your order when you use coupon code "Letters" at checkout. Don't forget, Mother's Day is May 8th!}

It was Mother's Day last weekend - I got my Mum a box set of Hercule Poirot DVDs.

We were at church on Saturday for the induction of our new Pastor and I did a fist pump when one of my favourite worships songs were played by the visiting band - my best friend got the giggles because I got so excited lol.

Probably the paper mache flower I received from my kids! I still have it, along with macaroni necklaces and clay pins!

When my son was 6 years old he made me a card and instead of a love note, he wrote me a knock-knock joke. Though I can't remember the joke, remembering the card still makes me laugh...I LOVED being the mom of a little boy!!

I once gave my mom a blue Barry Manilow 8-track tape wrapped up in a red bandanna. It was the 70s. I was, like, 5.

And it was the 8-track tape we already owned.

BEST. DAUGHTER. EVER.

Love that necklace. Last year we gave our moms disc necklaces with all the kids names engraved on it. Big hit!

For my first I got a necklace that was Miller's tiny thumb print, pressed into clay and then used to make a silver mold! I still love it.
