Today's Letters: Dear Mr. Loerke, recently you decided to organize the mountain of clean clothes on your dresser into sleeping outfits for the rest of the week. This was to avoid having to put them away. Reason #245 why boy roommates are AWESOME. Dear Stranger on the Katy Trail, yesterday you said good morning as we passed you on our run. Thanks for changing the direction of my day with those two simple words. Dear Friends, remember our coffee giveaway from a couple of weeks ago? Check out this sweet review written by one of our winners. Makes me wanna hold up a gigantic sign saying, "I'm the luckiest Twinner alive!" Dear Husband, yesterday you brought me home a Michael Jackson cupcake wrapped in a paper towel. This photo is proof that you are still the best gift wrapper I know.

PS, 100 days until CHRISTMAS ... what's the best gift you've ever received?

ohhhhhhhh, good one. My favorite gift just happened last year...as you know, for the last 15 years, my Mom has been living with Parkinson's Disease and as a result, it has taken her sense of smell (but not taste, oddly enough)...well Sally doesn’t let that slow her down. She bought all of her kids and kids-in-law a bottle of good smells from the department store, based solely on the bottle alone because beautiful bottles make everyone feel better :) I lucked out and got the David Yurman perfume and turns out, it is MY FAVORITE SMELL EVER! Every day, I put it on, look at the bottle and think of my Mom. THE BEST!!

both you and your sister have similar handwriting... what a great font to have at your fingertips. I am guessing left-handed?

Bah! I couldn't enjoy reading your words more! And working at a bakery for 3 years, I appreciate the Michael Jackson cupcake [& the wrapping] :)

Best gift? Momma gave me a simple pearl drop necklace last Christmas. She's a good momma.

Hope you're enjoying Thursday.

I just wanted to say, I love your blog. I really really makes me smile!

Favorite Christmas gift: my grandpa was an amazing cabinet maker. He made my brother & I these big toy chests one year. Mine was a circus wagon and my brother's was a barn. They were perfect and one-of-a-kind.

It's a toss up between kid one and kid two... But since kid one's birthdays is TODAY- she's 8 and the most amazing little thing- maybe she's my favorite gift I've ever received. Just don't tell her brother. Ever.
