Today's Letters: Dear Mr. Loerke, when carrying groceries into the house you don't like to make more than one trip. This used to drive me crazy until I realized it was a game. #manshallnotbedominatedbygroceries. Dear Perfect Fall Weather, thanks for being cold enough to wear pants. I was getting tired of shaving my legs. Dear Oktoberfest, this weekend you filled our bellies with Warsteiner, brats, and sauerkraut. Two fist pumps for getting us to shake our Spätzle and sing OomPahPah till our hearts content. Dear Husband, yesterday you rode your invisible bici around the house while doing wheelies and skid stops. For real. Why you gotta give me another reason why boy roommates are the shiz?

HAPPY FREAKIN MONDAY!

Only 4 more days until we celebrate October. What the?

Dear Emo,

your Misters brother does the same thing with groceries. I guess it's a family thing.

I believe I've got pictures somewhere of husby with grocery bags all the way up to his pits on both arms. Maybe it's a man thing?

Second your Letters to The Fall (I LOVE PANTS) and regarding the trip inside after a grocery trip. I also used to have this obsession when I lived in on-campus housing in college and had to walk 10+ minutes from my car to my room. Oh, the bag marks on my hands, forearms, elbow creases, and sometimes biceps were painful but sooo worth the one trip pride.

Dear Emily, I do realize that this post is a couple of months old already but I just had to tell you how much I love it that you spelled "Spätzle" with the German letter "ä". That's so cool :)I'm from the South of Germany where the Spätzle are originally from so seeing that on your blog made me throw fist pumps and leg kicks!
