Today's Letters: Dear Mr. Loerke, this morning you offered me moonwalk lessons before leaving for work. Thanks for helping my body dance as awesome as it looks in my brain. Dear College Students, rumor is this blog is responsible for you failing your exams. We don't know if we should say "awesome" (as in oh, sheet) or "FREAKIN AWESOME!" (as in you still think we're young enough to kick it on campus). Dear Color, sometimes I forget how wonderful you are until I visit the farmer's market and want to buy every eggplant I see. Dear Husband, did you know the colder the room you sleep in, the better your chances are of having a bad dream? Reason #568 why we should leave the thermie set at 95°. To the moon!

What was your biggest distraction in college?

Facebook and CSI lol. I'd get distracted watching CSI rather than writing essays on Shakespeare or contemporary dance lol.

Indirect shout out!

What what!!!

I have 2 exams today. Am I prepared? Absolutely not. Should I be studying instead of commenting on your blog? Better believe it.

procrastination was my biggest distraction in college. it had many different faces and many different names, but always resulted in late nights drowned in tears and a promise to NEVER let it happen again. but it always did :)

Since I went to college in the pre-Facebook, Twitter, blogs days, my main distration was my friends. I was open to any excuse to not study: concerts, plays, just hang out? Why yes, count me in. (And yes I realize I dated myself, but humbly request that I be allowed to continue to read your wonderful blog, even though I count as "old" since I am in my mid-thirties).

Biggest distraction? Anything and everything that has nothing to do with school... but mostly it's TV and movies. For shame....

I would like to point out that I have not failed any exams because of your blog :) It's possible to love Today's Letters and get good grades! My biggest distraction is definitely Facebook and all the people around me, I can't say no to hanging out!

meeting friends for coffee or "studying" at the library (aka talking with friends until 2 am and then getting taco bell).

I wouldn't go as far to say that this blog has directly affected my efforts or grades in my classes..HOWEVER..it just so happens that right at this very moment I have a list about 1 mile, 3 laps, and boot scoot long, and I am currently commenting on this post. Caught. Red. Handed.

i wasn't a huge tv-watcher, but when i did have it on, the channel was set to the food network for the most part - which resulted in me attempting to chop, cook, bake, and EAT so many different things while putting off my chemical engineering funnnnnn. i had some lower grades and bigger jeans sizes, but happy taste buds!

han, no fb when i was in college. but we did have felicity and ed. two of my favorite shows to watch.

nina, i'd rather make packages for my beloved too. you and mr. l both graduate in may!

kim, well played.

devin, indirect shout out to my expendable crewman is right! got nothin but love for you and your whooping self.

palison, i have one word for you: beckygreenhoe. ps, still crave a #58 from hoe's.

a pair, you and husband function best under pressure. i'd rather eat meatwad. but i'm a work before play kindof girl. husband is def play before work.

cara, the one thing i never got enough of.

onecrafty, i rocked two jobs as well. both were wonderful and offered lots of great conversations.

t.jett, do tell. i'm not letting you off the hook that easy.

stacy, your majors intimidate the heck out of me.

shay, 10 seasons of friends? did you sleep? love baylor sing. at taylor it was called airband but it was one of my favorite things about college.

gollymeagan, where would you read? i was either in the library or student union.

michelle, thanks lady. the produce did all the hard work for me.

czam, you are in waco? please tell me you frequent common grounds?

marie, i am too old for fb as well. what the jack ever happened to pagers?

sara, movies. agreed.

nicole, three gold stars for reading the bloggy and for being a rock star student. you are the wind beneath my wings.

mike, these were from the farmer's market in kansas city a few weeks ago when i went and visited my dad. i've seen comparable at the local arbor at downtown's market. next hot date?

ornery, i guess they didn't call him ornery for nothin.

annie h, we need to talk about this taco hell addiction of yours.

katelin, you must be friends with nicole. you also said boot scoot. are you and aggie? i want to put anyone with a southern drawl in my pocket.

mdb, the union and beaner were def my biggest distractions. i was doomed once i started working at games control.

michele, chem engineering? based on your cooking skills and love for the food network we would have been good friends.

Emo. We cannot be friends if you even joke about putting the thermie at 95. Russ Page will have a heart attack if he knows I even typed that. Our thermie goes to 67 at night. And it only stops there b/c of Davy. Sir Page looooves sleeping in the cold...and therefore, now I am addicted too (i blame Kamp).

And the answer to your question is Beer. Because I went to Texas Tech.

r, we did not have greek at taylor, otherwise i would have been right there with you.

beckles, timo sets the thermie at 65. he says a perk of living in an all bills paid condo. i thank him by sticking my cold feet all over his body and burrowing into him like a 4 yr old. i'm grateful that he at least turns up the heat after he crawls out of the biscuit. otherwise he would he me moaning about how i can't feel my appendages.

Mrs. Loerke,

Common Grounds was just frequented last night - I love that place! I ordered a bird's nest (cuz it was a little late for caffeine), which is any choice of smoothie with frozen white chocolate added to it - delicious!
