Husband's Letters: Dear Mrs. Loerke, I like our deal. I fall asleep in the fort while you write and then you wake me up when it's time to go to bed. That way we still get to fall asleep in the biscuit at the same time. Dear Mace, while cooking on Monday I accidentally used you in my recipe instead of curry. I think you make things taste like wood. Thanks for being the reason Emo and I got to eat cake for dinner. Dear Future Job, each day I think about you and get more excited than a kid in a candy store. Thanks for waiting on me while I finish up school. Dear Little Football Fan, you wear your Farve jersey every Sunday even when he's not playing. You are the most loyal person I know.

Love,
Husband

Fairy cakes! They are the best - then again my house mate made this awesome roast chicken last weekend. It was marinated in Fiery ginger beer - I don't normally like the stuff but this chicken was amazing!

How can you ask me to pick a fav, Mr. L? I'd say my favorite thing to cook is invented pasta and pureed veggie soup recipes, especially when I know it's healthy and still delicious!

I love to make cookies! All kinds! However my favorite is oatmeal chocolate chip. My boyfriend is at the Air Force Academy and both he and his roommates love the fact that I enjoy baking and sharing cookies with them!

If cooking can include baking, then my adopted Aggie mom's French bread. It's always a hit around the Dinnerville house for holidays.

Lunch in a pumpkin!
Just posted the recipe at ChinDeep.com if you want to try it. This time I filled the pumpkins with our favorite autumn treat, cider stew ;) Kind of a fun thing to make if you're having company.

Grilled salmon, asparagus and Waldorf salad - yumm! However that is more of a "summer" meal and now that we are getting into autumn my favorite dish to make is chili; I'm always changing my recipes.

Homemade pasta noodles to make Chicken Pesto Pasta. Delicious, inexpensive, and gives you a reason to throw flour at each other :)

Anything that ends this sentence - "Mama, you are the best cook ever, can you make us your famous....". This usually is gouda grits, lemon blossoms, or squash pasta.

I am curious as to what Emily's tattoo says? I love the location and look of it.

We are Bama fans and my twinners sport their jersey's almost daily all season.

So, my wife thinks she is now a stalker because she clicked on the Apartment Therapy link and noticed that the featured apartment is y'alls apartment based off of following your blog. She wants you to know that she is, in fact, not creepy.

Much love from Waco.
