Today's Letters: Dear Mr. Loerke, after getting back from boot camp yesterday you had a protein shake waiting for me on our nightstand. This made me feel so cared for. Dear Empty Spaces, sometimes I fill you with the wrong things. New Goal: clean out the energy wasters in my life. Dear Whole Paycheck, last week you had orchid's on sale for $9.99 ea. WINNING. Dear Husband, journal hidden by Professor Plum, in Emo's unmentionable drawer, with the candlestick. BAM!

What was your favorite board game as a kid? Twinner and I used to play Chutes & Ladders, Candyland, Mouse Trap, and Clue for hours. Pretty sure I still want to be friends with Grandma Nutt and live in Peanut Acres.

Memory! I'm an only child, and my mother used to play it with me over and over. I'm convinced it has a lot to do with my becoming a detail/memorization nerd. :0)

I got so excited when my girls were old enough to play it!

Definitely Mouse trap, dominoes, chinese checkers, and scrabble. :)

Glad you scored an orchid for $9.99! I'm always so happy when they are on sale. I got a new one a few weeks back for $4.99!!! (A mid sized one, not the itty bitty ones.)

I really, really love Uno. Although its not a board game. I could play Uno all day long!

We played lots of Monopoly and Sorry as a family. Now though, we play lots of Ticket to Ride since its easy to play with just 2 people.

Uno! That's kind of a board game, right? I still play mean rounds of it with a special someone. When I was teeny, my faves were Memory, checkers, and Candyland. Then I upgraded to Life, Trouble, and Guess Who? The Kid now plays Guess Who? at her afterschool program, but it's a Star Wars version and she schools everyone.

Double Bam!
