Husband's Letters: Dear Mrs. Loerke, the other day I was sleepy and told you that I thought you looked like Christmas. I'm so glad you understand me when I'm tired. Dear PA Classmates, you're halfway done with rotations (only 211 more days until graduation!). I couldn't be more proud of you. Dear Foundation Group Guys, thank you for your authenticity and desire to be better husbands. You've been married less than 3 months and are already growing stronger in your marriages. Dear Little, sometimes you leave me notes on my laundry. I love you more than the greatest deal of the summer.

Love,
Husband

The Mr. asks: What are you most looking forward to?

HAPPY FREAKIN WEEKEND!

Be sure and check back later for a post about last night's dinner with the couple we've always wanted to meet!

Sleeping lol. Does that count?

I need to finish my crazy amount of tidying from last weekend and go to a friend's 18th. Will also get a get well soon card for my friend who broke his ankle playing Rugby on Wednesday - they had to pin it and stuff :(

family fall time. our only calendar commitment is a birthday party tomorrow (woot!), so i'm hoping we can hit up some pumpkin patches, farmers markets or the like. family fun in the fall is my favorite. :0) (and it makes a nice alliteration. who doesn't love that?! ha!)

Tonight - Lenexa Chili Challenge Launch Party - lots of good food, good drink, good friends, a bonfire, and fireworks. Yeehaw!

Tomorrow we start the day with our church's first ever Pet Blessing. If anyone needs some words of blessing and encouragement, it's our basset hound, Angus.

Sunday - our church will celebrate Applefest to benefit and show support to the Migrant Farmworker Project. I love potluck!

Hope you two have a fabulous weekend and have some amazing adventures!
