Today's Letters: Dear Mr. Loerke, before going to bed you like to play catch with your Smartwools, flex your muscles, and dance in the hallway. I think your gift of stalling is AWESOME. Dear (oldest) Brother, less than 2 days until we're all in Fort Lauderdale celebrating your 40th. Get ready for a Twinner sandwich with a side of Timothy James. Dear Stranger, while waiting at a stoplight this morning I saw you do a half a dozen 360's in your powered wheelchair. JUST BECAUSE. This made me smile. Dear Husband, tonight we see Sufjan. (Insert three deep sighs here).

What have you been listening to lately?

THANK YOU for following the blog! We love knowing who you are!

PS, Sending 3 special fist pumps to all of our new homies in Alabama, Mississippi, and Georgia. You are the wind beneath our wings.

I saw KT Tunstall in concert yesterday so that's been pretty high on the playlist. I also bought Slow Club's CD yesterday as they were warm up to KT and were awesome - we listed to it on the way home yesterday and it's playing in my car atm :)

Fruit Bats, Band of Horses, St. Vincent (LH girl, y'know). Man - I work at SMU and had not heard anything about Sufjan. Sold Out. Congratulations on being in tune, in touch and in the know.

I've been listening to Ernie Johnson, John Smoltz and Ron Darling (with a little Eric Nadel mixed in) call the Rangers playoff games. And they have made some of the most beautiful sounds I've ever heard.

We listen to whatever our little one sings along to. Because it makes us laugh like hyenas to hear a three-year old sing along with "I Gotta Feeling" by the Black Eyed Peas. Teehee!

Perfect Fall tunes.

Love your blog. :)

a friend of ours just moved to Texas (randomly) and he's going to be at the Sufjan concert tonight too!

small world.

sadly, the tunes don't go past laurie berkner, the wiggles or veggie tales around here thanks to my peanut gallery. but when i do get a chance to listen to MY stuff, it's usually praise & worship or AM radio news/talk shows. not much opportunity for adult ear candy these days. :0)

I've been listening to Feist and Ray LaMontagne and (right now) White Denim, as loud as it can be on le laptop. xo

Thanks to you and Sister, I have been listening to Mumford and Sons... newly created Pandora Station is based off of that and Nickel Creek, so I am ending up with a lot of bluegrass and stuff from the soundtrack of 'O Brother Where Art Thou.' Love it. Also, my little one LOVES listening to the same tunes I listen to (and also NPR, although I think he uses it for nap induction).

We saw a guy named Joe Pug in concert this week. He's from D.C. area but currently resides and makes awesome folky music in Chicago. Check him out, you guys may like him. He is currently doing a Ten Dollar Tour (brilliant, right?).
