Love love love Sigur Ros. I had insomnia around 18-19 years old and could not sleep without them sometimes!

"I have to catch everybody if they start to go over the cliff - I mean if they're running and they don't look where they're going I have to come out from somewhere and catch them. That's all I do all day. I'd just be the catcher in the rye and all."

l.o.v.e this video/music and the meaning behind it all. they played this video at our church here in costa mesa CA a few years back - rockharbor church - and it left all of us at the edge of our seats and gave us a lot to think about! thanks for sharing...and thanks for you fab blog. loving reading it daily. getting tons of life giving inspiration for our marriage. we work hard on our 2yr marriage too. 5 love languages was huge and the newest and most life changing is 'how we love' by yerkovich is awesome. all about the family junk and how God can redeen all that - and steps on how we can work through it. our 2nd wedding anniversary is on the 8th (cotton) and i'm dreaming something wondering up. also wanted to share that we do the '5 A' every night before we go to bed - learned that through our pre-marital class.

Affirm - build them up before you the next step
Address - anything that bother or hurt you today
Ask - anything I could do for them to help make life easier tomorrow
Amen - when can I be praying for you
Affection - a kiss goodnight

we do it every night - and it's awesome! shouldn't take more that 2-4min and and 'bigger' addressing stuff should be done at different time!

thanks again for you great blog - so glad i found it!

morgandkim, so excited you guys got to see them live! if they ever tour dallas (or anywhere within a 10 hr driving distance) we're in.

bestie, thanks for reading. we're convinced you'll love the orange cakes.

lb, our first topic of discussion: your high school insomnia.

kristyn, love that song as well. the video makes me cry everytime i watch it.

ingrid, reading the 5 love languages changed my life. it was the motivation behind asking our 1st & 3rd Tuesday Questions. we always have a dominate love language, but often ours shift on a weekly basis given the season we're in. asking each other each week how we'd feel loved has eliminated much disappointment and hurt feelings. also loved reading your 5 A's ... encouraging, serving, and praying for one another along with keeping short accounts makes a huge difference in marriage. thanks for sharing!
