Husband's Letters: Dear Mrs. Loerke, sometimes you get hot in the night and launch your socks into the dark abyss. I think this one should count as a three pointer. Dear 140 Miles of Round Trip Travel, because of you I get to see both the sunrise and sunset over the Texas countryside. I love this. Dear PA Grubb, for the past 4 years I've helped you transform your house into a winter wonderland of lights. I look forward to helping you every year and hope to see you one day attain Clark Griswold status. Dear Little, thank you for surprising me with campfire marshmallows yesterday. I can't wait to make s'mores with you this weekend!

Love,
Husband

The Mr. asks: What's your favorite Holiday movie?

Love Actually. 100% all the way. And lately Sex and The City the movie. b/c of the New Years Eve scene w/ Carrie and Miranda. I also wouldn't turn off White Christmas if it happened to be on.

I'm with the girl who cans the christmas movie question (though Muppet Christmas Carol is by FAR the best...can't believe it's not gettin' much play on here...) -- and goes straight to praise the Bon Iver lyrics on the wall. Woot Woot. Go Team Loerke!

I love Elf and even though it isn't really a Christmas film, I watch While You Were Sleeping every year around this time as part of my holiday prep. White Christmas and It's a Wonderful Life are also faves. Who doesn't love a classic now and then.
