Today's Letters: Dear Mr. Loerke, this weekend we went to a leadership seminar, slept in, made gingerbread waffles, ran errands, asked for each other's forgiveness, devoured this meal, prepared for Wednesday's talk, watched football, and learned about the history of surgery. Loved this weekend. Dear Sprinkles, you make everything taste better, even waffles. Dear Bon Appetit, the brownies featured on the cover of February's issue is the reason why I slowly open our mailbox like Charlie Bucket looking for a golden ticket. Your magazine is more magical than Wonka's chocolate river. Dear Husband, next week begins three straight months of surgical rotations. (Insert hardest stretch of school yet). Know that I'm committed to good communication, extending grace, and creatively pursuing you. Only 109 days until graduation ...

Are any of you coming to Dallas for the Superbowl? And the big question is ... Packers or Steelers?

as much as i hate to, i gotta go with the pack. my family is in wisconsin, so that's the closest allegiance i have to a team in this bowl. :0)

I loathe the packers...(seeing as I was born in minnesota). So I will pull for the steelers(my husband drove to Pittsburgh for the game last night.... He is a life long jets fan).
You know the punter for the steelers is a former kanakuk kid... I used to tape his ankles. His older brother was a counselor with us.

Ugh I'm a Cowboys fan but the fiancé is a Packers fan so it looks like we'll both be pulling for the Pack

I meant to tell you ... we go to Pine Cove (Crier Creek) family camp every year (put this on your list .. or maybe you'll go to Kanakuk's) .. but Todd Wagner from Watermark was our camp pastor a few years ago. SO enjoyed his teaching.

I made those brownies from Bon Appetit the day the magazine came. My co-workers were thankful and seemed to think I had done it out of the goodness of my heart, just to give. I didn't tell anyone I ate four of them before they left the house.

I would love a audio of your talk at reEngage. We've been together for many, many moons and still believe there's work to do. Are we not all a work in progress? Thanks much.
