Call a sitter, pick your favorite restaurant, and and drive through Watermark tomorrow night between 6-7:30pm to pick up your date night kit.
Your kit will include discussion questions designed to help you connect with your spouse, as well as coupons and discounts from some of our favorite places in Dallas (Society Bakery, The Pearl Cup, Hypnotic Donuts, Chick-Fil-A, Fish City Grill, Red Mango, Pokey O's, Rockfish, and Crooked Tree Coffee House).
Hope to see you there!
Em & Tim

oh my gosh! That's awesome. I'm not married, nor do I live in Dallas, but Watermark is a fantastic church. (i have a friend who works there) and I love that they are doing this. As a single woman who hopes to be married oneday, it blesses me to see churches that support couples and couples, like you, who aren't afraid to put in the time and effort to love each other well. Thanks!
erin, who is your friend that works there? i bet i know him / her.
i'm totally forwarding this on to our marriage pastor at our church here in so.cal! we go to rockharbor church in costa mesa and i work there as well in community life ministry. this is a beautiful idea! thanks for sharing and have such a fun time tomorrow night. i'm off with my hubs for a date night @ whole foods and maybe do some wine tasting at the wf wine bar in store. i know you guys love to cook - so you can relate that date night @ wf can be just as fab as going out to a $300 dinner (if not better in my opinion).
ingrid, date night at whole paycheck?? us too!! (tom night anyway) ... it's one of our favorite places to go for date night. their international cheese flight and fireman's 4 on tap is perfect. have a great date night, love! xoxo
We're taking our little on his first road trip (Stillwater!!!), so we won't be in town to pick up our kit. What a great idea from WM. They plugged this idea yesterday at Square One. Have a great date!!
What a great idea!!! I wish I lived in Texas - we would come! California is a bit far.. hope it goes well!
you two are so awesome. this is a great idea!
Charla Dixon. I worked with her at Breakaway Ministries a few years ago.
erin, i know charla! she is a good egg ;)
That is such an awesome idea! Me and Chris are going to "Spice Up Your Marriage" night at church tomorrow - there's a curry for dinner and then a video and some others bits to start discussion and things like that. (I'm having veggie lasagne lol) But so far 54 people are coming! how awesome is that!
Can you share more of the questions? I'd love to use these in our next date night.
Here's a link to the questions we asked each other on date night. Scroll all the way to the bottom ... http://www.watermark.org/datenight
