Yesterday's Highlights: 1) sleeping in 2) making coffee in the Hario 3) venturing out to the store for s'mores and tampons 4) sliding on the ice in my favorite pair of Vasques from high school 5) making envelopes while listening to Neil Young on the turntable 6) laughing until my sides hurt from watching this video and 7) ending the day with ice cream and a movie with the cutest man I know. Snow Day #2, you were FANTASTIC.

Today is Snow Day #3. I have high hopes of taking a nap on the couch, finishing a book next to my favorite reading lamp, cheering Tim on as he goes to his 2nd job interview, and working on my recipe journal. What are your plans?

PS, Em and I may have found a lead on getting a used tandem kayak for the MR340. We'll keep you posted!

I had work today, then later on we're going for dinner all together because there is a VIP from the US office here today. We're going to a local restaurant/pub called The Park (funnily enough it's right across the road from Bedford Park lol).

I am trying the envelopes but I don't have a white envelope to start with so I'm playing with a ruler and making a template :)

Highlights at the Fish house - watch movies, shove meds and food down my kids gullet, force him to take a bath, take temperatures 100+ times, more meds. All of that to say - can I come and stay with you and Tim. You are having much more fun than me!

Oh one good highlight - bundling both kids up like Ralphie's little brother, shoving them in the jogger and doing a family walk around the block. First time I've been out of the house in 4+ days. I love sickness.

i love s'mores! i used to make them in my dorm room sometimes. i didn't have a microwave in my room, so i would sprint down the hall towards the common room (microwave location) in excitement of what was to come (said s'more).

i have the same recipe journal. i can't bring myself to write in it, it's like putting the first scuff on a new pair of shoes. i'll just keep playing with the stickers and the back pocket folder.

Great writing! As a new PA graduate (Arizona School of Health Science) currently living in Wisconsin, my snow day included studying for the PANCE during our lovely 9 month old daughters nap-time!

This weekend is chock-full of delightful things. Starting a new book, making a Valentine wreath, crafting an envelope out of an Alabama map, scrapbooking for my boo, and venturing out to a new coffee shop in town. YEEHAW!
