Husband's Letters: Dear Mrs. Little, yesterday your new paddles arrived in the mail. You were so excited that I caught you sitting on our coffee table and practicing your stroke in our living room. Dear Bangkok Thai, I wish my palate desired more than Pad Thai Noodles. This is the one menu item that's hard for me to break away from when ordering. Dear Self, you are still learning to take each day one day at a time and not worry about the future. Even with PA school coming to an end you often need to be reminded that everything is going to fall into place. Dear Emma, you are my #1 encourager, best hugger, and reigning Smartwool Game Champion at our house. So glad you're on my team!

Love,
Husband

HAPPY FREAKIN WEEKEND!

Em and I are getting Thai food take-out tonight. Help me breakaway from Pad Thai! What else would you recommend me ordering?

Don't forget to check back later today for our
FIST PUMP FRIDAY photos!

Thai Green Curry - it's the only think I've heard of lol.

I'm supposed to be going to an indian tonight but my friend picked one of the expensive restaurants so we're waiting for her to see if she picks a different one otherwise I'll stay in

you should definitely try the green curry, or try tom kha gai soup (thats my favorite soup ever)

Peanut Curry on rice... but go mild on the spice level unless you have no other plans for the weekend :)

I lived in Thailand, and my favorite meals ever are Papaya Salad and Panang Curry! Papaya Salad isn't for everyone, so I especially recommend the Panang. It's the number one dish at my local Thai restaurant here in Florida. :)

BEEF DRUNKEN NOODLE! I know it SOUNDS random, but it is honestly the BEST. OH - and my absolute fave is coconut sticky rice (which you just eat as a delicious side or dessert in my opinion!)

Good luck. Em - that pic of you is so cute in the living room! Love it!

i am the same way! i'm never sure how to branch out because what if it's not as #1-ey as pad thai?!
panang curry sounds kind of promising, as does the shrimp & chicken basil. aaaand, i'm thinking no dish ever had a greater name than bangkok smile pork. my 2 cents! some girlfriends and i will be enjoying a pad thai catered dinner tonight at church, so cheers to Thai Fridays across the nation!

I'm stuck on green curry! Can't get away from the stuff unless it's fall and they have pumpkin curry. However, our 4 yr old son can't get enough of drunken noodles. They are very good as well!

Pork Drunken Noodles, or if you want a less spicy version of the same thing, look for Pork Pad See Yew (I think that's how you spell it--it's definitely how you say it).

Pad Kee Mow....Has noodles like pad that but a little different sauce...basil and tomatoes-YUM!
Green Papaya salad- super delicious and refreshing-not sweet like the papaya you think of-its savory
And Green Curry-its best with bamboo shoots and basil
CAN YOU TELL THAI FOOD IS MY FAVORITE?

Ditto on the Pad See Ew!!! The thai broc they use is a little bitter so you might want to swap it for regular broc. Now my mouth is watering for it!!!

Thai green curry gets my vote as well! It's addictive...especially if you find a restaurant that makes it more spicy than sweet! Gah! Now I'm craving Thai food!

Go Em go! Anything with green curry and coconut milk is a sure fire winner! Live on the Edge Timmer! xo

Som Tum (papaya salad), Beef Waterfall Salad, Chicken Green Curry, Tom Yum, Pad See Ew is great too, as is Panang. Mangoes & sticky rice for dessert is a must
