{Letters from Em Anderson of The Anderson Crew}

Thursday, May 05, 2011

Happy Thursday, Homies! This morning I'm excited to introduce to you one of my favorite blogging heroes, Emily Anderson. I first stumbled upon Em's blog last year and immediately fell in love with her authenticity and great taste in music. She has 5 kiddos (Caedmon, Hadley, Milo, Elsa, and Kohen) with one on the way. That makes 6 littles under the age of 7! Pretty sure this Mama deserves a raise. I hope you enjoy getting to know Em a little better today ... she's as good as they come!

Dear Mr. Anderson: I'm pretty sure that you're the best husband in the world. Yep, most definitely. Thank you for taking care of all 5 of our kids (plus me) these past few weeks while I'm growing another fetus. Thank you for making breakfast, lunch, and dinner everyday while I'm in the bathroom puking my guts out. Thank you for always making sure the toilet is nice and clean so while I'm doing the aforementioned puking I don't have to look at a dirty toilet. You da best.

Dear little human growing inside me: Stop making me so dang sick!

Dear Littles: I apologize for my lack of mothering these past few weeks. Thanks for still loving me even when I'm so dang unlovable. And please, I'm begging you ... don't use this against me in therapy one day.

Dear Toilet: Thank you for magically starting to work again. Those 5 days when you were broken was pure torture. Six of us using the same toilet was heinous, and almost inevitably everyone had to poop at the same time. What's up with that? Thanks for making us a two toilet family again. And PS, don't ever break on us again.

Dear small, little house we live in: How in the world will we be able to fit 6 kids in here? Oh, and while I'm at it, Dear Minivan: if you could grow and extra seat that would really save us a lot of money, mkay?

Dear Readers, I apologize for my negativity. Visit me again in a few months and I promise I'll be all unicorns and rainbows.

Love,
Em

So FUN to have Emily as a guest post here-- my 2 absolute favorite blog-writing-extraordinaire Emily's connected!! And a bit of a Kevin Bacon 7 degrees of separation feeling to know you both :)

Have your husband go straight to the store and buy a box of Fla-Vor-Ice freeze pops. This might fix your morning sickness and make the kids happy too. As soon as you think you are going to get sick, eat one! I don't know if it is the sugar or the coldness, but it worked for me with all 3 of my boys. Puking is the worst. Godspeed into the second trimester!
