Today's Letters: Dear Mr. Loerke, sometimes when you eat ice cream it looks like you're wearing chocolate lip liner. I love this about you. Dear Lack of Patience, you are a constant reminder that I have so much to learn before having kiddos. Thank you for revealing my pride and selfishness. Dear Flavor Ice, I know it's summer when you officially take over our freezer. Welcome back. Dear Husband, this weekend we slept in, went on a run, had dinner with friends, made this for the 27th time, and cheered on the Mavs to victory. AWESOME weekend.

Happy Freakin Monday, Homies! What are your favorite kind of Popsicles? We've been enjoying our box of Flavor Ice lately. Not gonna lie, the frozen Dr. Pepper flavor has given me flashbacks to being sick as a kid. This means there's been lots of Freezer Ice trading going on a Casa de Loerke.

I love grape popsicles!

I agree with Ruthiey, grape is delicious...though any fruit will make me dance...aw heck all frozen goodness on a stick makes me happy. {I think I spy a singular magnum left in your fridge...hoe I celebrated when they finally brought them to the US!}

...and I have clean freezer envy...

I'm not a big popsicle person, but once a summer I do buy a box of these:

Emo, you most likely wont learn patience until you have kids. You find you learn all kinds of things. Just sayin..

And orange flavor-ice is the BEST!

My second job is at a frozen custard shop, but we also have a variety of ice pops made in-store. My favorite so far has been the lemon rosemary - easily the best thing I've tasted in weeks (except for kissing my sweet man, of course)!

ruthiey, you and me both!

teresa, it is a magnum! tim and i found them at target over the weekend. i almost cried. i haven't eaten one since i studied in israel in 2000. it was def worth the 11 yr wait!

kristi, those look delish. any excuse to combine cookies and ice cream sounds like a good idea to me.

ames, agreed. i've been reading a parenting book and it's been so convicting. i so much to learn!

sarah, flavor ice reminds me of pogo balls and the nintendo power pad. these made the world go round when i was 8.

amanda, there is a trailer in kc that sells homemade popsicles from all natural ingredients. it's called fresher than fresh and is the bomb. my favorite? their watermelon basil and their lemon prickly pear.

**NOTE: my friend julia just texted and asked if my freezer is really this clean. YES. final answer. because tim and i cook most of our meals fresh we rarely ever freeze anything. however, we do have some bacon in there from mcgonigle's, as well as some of julia's breast milk (don't ask)**

Dear Mr. & Mrs. Loerke.....I want you to know how much your blog means to me. I know you hear this over and over. But it makes me work to be a better wife. It makes me take thought of creative ways to love my husband. It makes me smile on sad cubicle and florescent light mondays at work. I bake your recipes, listen to your music suggestions. God is using your willingness to post your life for us to see as a means to change lives. Thank you. We pray for you both.

CJ does the choco lipliner as well. Always makes icecream eating more amusing.
