Husband's Letters: Dear Mrs. Loerke, you survived the monstrous kick-off of a new season at work. So proud of you for persevering! Know that I think you are beautiful, even when you're exhausted. Dear Dallas Food Truck Night, this Saturday I will take my bride and some of our closest friends to enjoy your goodness. Can't wait! Dear Upper Body, I never knew working in orthopedics would feel like spending 2 hours with Tony Horton. Thanks for giving me a workout without having to go to the gym. Dear Emma, this weekend you made me a snack bin stocked full of healthy treats. Thank you for helping me make good choices even when I'm on the go!

Love,
Mr. Loerke

Did you watch our friend Julie on HGTV last night? She did a fantastic job! It made Emma and I wish we could live in Paris for a month. Where would you live if you could stay rent free anywhere in the world?

i think i'd love to live in greece for a month too. i did 2 months on the french riviera this summer and that was absolutely beautiful, so i feel like greece would be even better.

Definitely Denver, Colorado! I miss seeing the mountains when I look out of my bedroom window :)

NYC. I've wanted to live there forever and I think a month would be a perfect trial period to adjust to the city and find my way.

YES! Watched it. And Mr. Loerke, I'm a recently-graduated NP and am working in orthopedics as well! Are you mastering skills yet? I'm waiting for privileges...STILL! Hopefully will be allowed to scrub, etc. starting next week. Can't wait. Oh, and I'd say San Sebastian, Spain, where I studied abroad. It's gorgeous year-round, but I recommend summertime.

elissa, congrats on the new accomplishment! I don't know about mastering the skills but I'm feeling more comfortable. I have privileges at 3 out of the 6 places...so, I'm busy enough. Hope your transition goes well into the OR!
