Today's Letters: Dear Mr. Loerke, last week you came home from work with flowers for no reason (other than you like to see me tackle you and kiss your face). Thank you from the bottom of my Gerbers for being intentional to pursue me. Dear WaiWai Kitchen, it's official. Team Loerke thinks you have the best Tom Kha Gai soup in town. Sluuuuuuurp. Dear Discarded Things, sometimes I find you on the side of the road and make Tim Tam carry you all the way home. One man's crap is another woman's craft. Dear Husband, last night you whispered, "Emma, you're my best friend." This was after I said something earlier that had hurt your feelings. Your grace amazes me. Period.

Speaking of flowers, what's your favorite kind? (Insert Gerbers and Queen Anne's Lace right here ... although I think Queen Anne's Lace might be a plant??). And don't forget tomorrow is the last day to take advantage of Patagonia's 50% OFF SALE! (Homies don't let each other miss out on things like sales on outdoor gear). Happy Freakin, Wednesday!

I saw the picture on Twitter - it was so sweet :) Gerberas and daisies :) Friendly flowers :) I also love sunflowers. Did you know that they turn their heads to follow the sunshine - how cool is that!

Orange daylilies (not sure of the official name),because my grandmother used to have them running up the side of her house leading to the door. They remind me of being a little kid.Whenever I came home and I would pick the buds and eat them. I'm pretty sure there started to be too few flowers and I had to stop! But they are edible, and actually have a kind of spicy kick to them. I had no fear about food back then! And I am pretty sure that Queen Anne's Lace is actually a wild carrot. But I don't think THEY are edible. :)

Oooo...your gerbera daisies are so purty! How sweet! And what an example of grace on the whispered quote. Awesome.

I love daisies, peonies, and hydrangeas myself.

That little whisper is the sweetest thing ever. Favorite flowers? Hmmm... I like hydrangeas and roses. I'm horrible with flower names.

I too adore the gerbers. They were the flowers at my wedding. The hopeless romantic in me can't help but like roses too.
