Husband's Letters: Dear Mrs. Loerke, this weekend you let me borrow your fleece socks. This A) made me feel like Tom Cruise as I slid across the hardwoods B) gave me protection from all the dust bunnies C) filled my love bucket to the brim or D) all of the above. Dear Maine Root, you give me another reason to love seasonal beverages. Your Pumpkin Pie soda had a spiced finish that mirrored eating a slice of the real thing. Nice work. Dear Kansas City, I already miss your cool mornings, quaint neighborhoods, and incredible food. Not to mention a father-in-law who makes me feel like a champion. Dear Emma, this weekend I'll be in Oklahoma for my college guy reunion. Typically when I'm out of town you wear my underwear and sleep on my side of the biscuit. Reason #968 why girl roommates are awesome.

Love,
Mr. Loerke

What's your favorite kind of soda? Em and I don't drink soda often, but I'm a root beer guy and Em likes Izze.

Diet cola or cream soda - but I have to be in the right mood for cream soda as it's really sweet. The best cream soda (or the funnest to drink) is from South Africa - it's green!! It's amazing lol.

It is a very rare occasion that I drink any soda other than Izze. (I even have an awesome Grapefruit Izze shirt, so prideful I am). Most other sodas are just too sweet, or not worth the tooth ache. Although another I like is some special Ginger Ale you get from Wholepaycheck that my Grandmother used to give me when I was sick. It isn't that sweet and is loaded with spicy ginger. I don't know if it helped my tummy, seeing as it is the sugar syrup they say that helps with that, but I still loved it. Wish I knew the name of it. Aannnnnd I adore Orangina. Although I can never finish a bottle, so I always need o share. I'm not usually a picky eater/drinker, but this is one of those things it is actually better to be picky about. 99% of the time I just order water.

I can't help it...but I'm a Dr Pepper girl all the way. I try not to drink sodas much...but when I do that's my poison!

I love what I can't have so when I'm in the UK I crave Mountain Dew or French Orangina (it tastes different there - trust!) and when I'm abroad I miss UK soda (or fizzy drinks as we call them) like Lilt or Tango or the sports drink Lucozade...

I am such a typically awkward woman!

Lovely letters, as always,

Bird x

Jaritos strawberry flavor is super yum. Anything with real sugar gets my vote.

This is the cutest thing ever! What made you two start writing letters to each other?? Brilliant && romantic :)

Water is more my cup of tea, but pumpkin pie soda sounds AWEsome; certainly a nice (indulgent) Fall season beverage.

I Looove Izze but don't find it that often. Coke, however, is an addiction with which I continually struggle. (Stomach ulcer.)
