Today's Letters: Dear Mr. Loerke, whenever you leave me the last piece of cake it makes me wanna make out. Just sayin. Dear Overalls, I've missed you. It's that time of year again when we get stuck on each other like Band-Aid's and Tim starts referring to me as Sissy Spacek. Dear Elderly Couple, seeing you ride your over sized tricycles after work each day makes me look forward to growing old. Bonus points for the orange caution flags taped to your seat that let people know you're coming. Dear Tim Tam, wanna speak at a leadership conference in Uganda this Spring? Promise to wear my overalls.

What's one thing you'd like to do when you're old? I can think of 100 places I'd like to visit while traveling the country in an Airstream. PS, have any of you ever been to Uganda? Let us know!

When I'm old I look forward to sitting in the garden watching my grand kids charge around after each other.

then again I might be one of those really active Granny's who chase the grand kids lol.

P.s. Africa would be AH-mazing! My best bud is doing her gap year with YWAM in South Africa - she says it's super challenging but so so so worth it

Take my time and hike all the great trails of the country and world. Get a tattoo, dance and flirt with young gals who know I'm no threat.

Em, I lived in Kenya off and on growing up and Uganda is beautiful, hope you get to go. Masai Mara game park is amazing, in Mombasa on the Indian ocean you can ride camels on the beach, etc etc!! Keep us posted!

When I was in South Korea this summer I saw an old couple together in the subway station. He was fanning her with a large traditional fan to keep her cool and she was feeding him sweets...I want to be like that couple in korea someday ;)

ps-If you're going to Africa, you should most definitely check out 'Kisses for Katie'--both her blog and her book if you haven't already. the most incredible God working through such an awesome girl.

Uganda?! How fabulous. I've never been but have quite a few friends that have been for extended periods of time.

When I am old I want to go on walks and bike rides with my hubs.

Uganda is great! Went white water rafting on the Nile there when I lived in Kenya - went to Jinja and Kampala for about 10 days. Beautiful country!

Moving there in January. Never got to meet you when we lived close by in Dallas, but maybe East Africa would be our chance!
