Today's Letters: Dear Mr. Loerke, it's that time of year again when I begin sounding like Coughasaurus Rex and you start sleeping with ear plugs. Thank you from the bottom of my Riiiiiicolaaaa for my CVS party favors. Dear Colder Weather, whenever you hit our flannel sheets come out to visit. Glad you're back like a brand new invention. Dear Self, sometimes the only thing that keeps you together is an unwavering belief in grace and forgiveness. That and a big breakfast. Dear Husband, last night's concert introduced us to the sounds of The Happiness Project & Mountain Man. Listening to live music with you is one of my favorite things in the world.

What new music have you been listening to lately? PS, since Monday we've already had over 500 entries for this week's giveaway. Don't miss out by not entering because you think you won't win. You just never know what Mr. McFeely might deliver to your front door!

Em, I'm feeling with you. It seems like I've had a cold for the last couple of weeks and it just won't go away. Get well soon :)

Civil Wars...going to see them in January:)They'll be with Milo Greene which seems like your style. I'm a Nicklecreek fan and I've been loving the Goat Rodeo Sessions with Chris Thile and Yo Yo Ma. Delight. Throat Coat herbal tea is the shiz for a sore throat...just sayin.

I'be been re-discovering some of my old favorites like Josh Rouse, Josh Ritter, Joshua Radin (its like a Josh parade!), A Fine Frenzy, Patrick Watson, Sleeping at Last, and Au Revoir Simone. My earholes are in heaven.
Hope you are able to kick the cold soon!

I've been lucky and haven't had a cold yet this year (touch wood), but I wish I had super soft flannel sheets!

I hope you feel better soon...why are flannel sheets SO comforting?!

I've been listening to (and going to see here in England)Lanterns on the Lake and Sharks Took The Rest, check them out on Myspace, I think you might like them!

I'm just waiting for my cold and sniffles to hit. Impending doom! My ears, however, have taken in some Foster the People and Delta Spirit (who I first heard on the super amazing series finale of Friday Night Lights, RIP).

I've been loving Lanterns on the Lake. And for Christian inspiration, I've been enjoying All Son's & Daughters recent EP.

ps. Is there anything better than having a hubby bring you medicine when you're sick? It makes me feel cherished.

While the band isn't new to me, I've been rocking out to Jack's Mannequin's new CD "People and Things" - it's crazy good! And I saw Yellowcard in concert last week - they are back together and coming out with new tunes... highlight of the night was when the drummer carried a tiny puppy out and held him over the crowd, Lion King-style!

Feel better! I'm on day 3 of my first cold of the season. Looks like you're fully stocked, but cold eeze's strawberries and cream lozenges are like candy!

Been digging on the new Enter The Haggis album, Whitelake. Lots o' good banjo and trumpet and other newness in this one. Then again, I may be a little biased. :) [http://www.enterthehaggis.com]

Next wash day = flannel sheets ON. Yum.

Get to feeling better. I LOVE fall but hate the time of year that I feel like I have 10 lbs of stuff in my head. Glad hubby is taking care of ya!
