Today's Letters: Dear Mr. Loerke, whenever I come home from a late night and find that you've set out my sleeping outfit it makes me wanna kiss your face. Reason #268 why boy roommates are AWESOME. Dear Toddlers, on average you laugh 400 times a day. FOUR HUNDRED. Pretty sure you could teach us adults a thing or two about finding joy in the simplest things. Dear Elevator Button, sometimes I push you more than once thinking it will make you go faster. Why am I in such a hurry sometimes? Dear Tim Tam, I think you are fantastic. Kind of like snow days and hot chocolate. Over and out.

What simple thing has brought you the greatest joy lately?

Laid out sleeping clothes-that is sooo lovely! It is the little things. This week I picked myself up (for 3 nano seconds) in the crow postition in yoga class and wanted to shout 'look, look!!!I did it!!'

Joy truly is found in the simple things! Things like my boyfriend leaving encouraging messages on post-it notes throughout my apartment, my dog running to greet me after a day away, a bikram yoga sweat session, an intramural soccer game in the mud, the #1 meal at Chick-fil-A :)...on and on it goes.

so sweet. my favorite simple thing lately is just the way my boyfriend smells. he just came home from a 6 month deployment, so i'd forgotten what it was like to have him by my side.

My "foster son" originally he was just staying on a temporary basis but stuff has got worse "at home" and so he's staying with us which is fab.

And scary and crazy and all sorts of other things like that but we've got God on our side and our church has been amazing and so he's bringing me joy even though I'm petrified of screwing up.

It's Geography and French homework tonight and we've got a visit from the Social Services lady to start making it all official that he's going to stay with us.

A letter from someone who is really important to me but who I haven't seen in over a year. Seeing her hand writing on the envelope made my day today :)

Little kid laughs. One of my after care kiddos is three and he has the best laugh. I love to get him going just to hear him laugh. Also, the other day one of the little girls was singing Justin Bieber. It was freakin' adorable.

Taking time time notice the sky and changing leaves. Our God is so beautiful! I can't believe he blesses us with such beauty. That has been bringing me joy.

I'm a student at Taylor University and I had a tough day of classes, but my roommate didn't even know that. When I came back from class, I hot latte was waiting on my desk with a note that said "You are the best and I like you a latte"...dang, she's good!

I love laying out "comfies" (that's what we call them too!) for my husband...especially after a long day of work and night of class. Today my little joy was a free Jimmy John's sub for lunch!

Last week we celebrated our 10 year anniversary (early). I unplugged for the week, and we took a trip to the beach. Sitting on the beach, listening to the waves....joy. Being unplugged was amazing too. Definitely recommend it from time to time :)

Loved the video! Thanks for the reminder to appreciate the simple things in life.

I am very pregnant - 3 1/2 weeks left! When I'm ready to go to bed at 8:30 each night, my sweet husband comes to tuck me in. It instantly calms me and makes me feel safe and sound.

Me, my husband and kids snuggled up and cozy on the couch watching a movie together...no one complaining about being uncomfortable and the dogs resting happily on the floor next to us. Contentment!
