Today's Letters: Dear Mr. Loerke, this weekend we went to a Christmas party, assembled our new turkey fryer, fell asleep on the floor watching this movie, wrapped Christmas presents with too much tape, and stuffed our bocas at Whiskey Cake with dear friends. Loved this weekend. Dear Twinner, one week from tomorrow I'll be tackling you at baggage claim. PS, will you help me fix our kitchen faucet? I need someone little to fit under the sink with me. Dear Required Reading for Africa, yikes. Time to get crackin. Dear Timothy James, you were oh so close to making the bed this weekend. Inches away. Maybe next time.

Happy freaking Monday, Homies! Hope your weekend was lovely. Would love to know your favorite holiday movie. Last year I saw It's A Wonderful Life for the first time and loved it!

I love It's A Wonderful Life and Christmas Story, but my favorite holiday movie is National Lampoon's Christmas Vacation. Makes me laugh until my sides ache every time.

I saw It's A Wonderful Life for the first time last year, too! I can see why so many people have adopted it as their tradition.

White Christmas. I love that movie. Probably more so because it was always a tradition growing up that my parents and I would watch it while we decorated the tree.
National Lampoons Christmas vacay and Elf are tied for 2nd.

It's a Wonderful Life is my favorite Christmas movie of all time. I love all the oldies though - White Christmas, Holiday Inn, Miracle on 34th Street.

I love all the classics, but me, the hubs and kids HAVE, HAVE, HAVE to watch Elf each year after the tree and Nativity go up! I also admit to enjoying Barbie and the Nutcracker!

We have yet to come across anything we didn't low at whiskey cake! So great and so close to Josh's apartment! Love it so much I even blogged about the sinks (and the captain crunch French toast! Heaven!)

Rudolph for sure. There is a dog musher named Yukon Cornelious... Couldnt be more perfect. Dustin thinks this post is Hi-larious with the inches away from making the bed perfectly statement. I too fail to make the bed as perfectly as he would like. :) Have a beautiful day!-kym

I love The Grinch!! (Jim Carrey version) Love that "Where are you,Christmas?" song and the little girl is adorable, the movie is so colorful, Carrey is hysterical--we quote movie lines all the time..."and they say his heart grew three times larger that day...".

Christmas Vacation will always be my #1..

but I also can't go the month of December with out watching Love Actually, Charlie Brown Christmas, The Muppet Christmas Carol, The Family Stone, Home Alone, Elf, and Rudolph and Frosty of course :)

I also just watch Meet Me in St. Louis for the first time the other day and I think that will have to be added to the list as well! I am a glutton for Christmas movies :)

I am probably the only person on the planet who hasn't seen It's A Wonderful Life. {It's starting to get embarrassing} The Santa Clause with Tim Allen tops my list. (:
