Husband's Letters: Dear Mrs. Loerke, whenever you get out of the shower you stand on the edges of our bath mat so I can have the dry space in the middle. This is one of the numerous ways you love me well. Dear Chicken Broccoli Casserole, you are one of my all-time favorite meals that Emma makes. It's got good ole home-cooking written all over it. Dear Medical City ER, I have spent a lot of time over the past few weeks preparing for my start date. I can't wait for Feb 6th! Dear Emma, sometimes I do funny things to get your attention. Last night I did sit-ups and push-ups in the kitchen while you cooked dinner. Know that you'll always be the girl that I flex for.

Over and out,

Have you ever been to the ER before? If you live in the Dallas area, perhaps we will meet at Medical City. (Or hopefully under better circumstances!).

I was taken in, in an ambulance to A&E (UK equivalent of ER lol) when I'd clipped the wing mirror of a car after being pushed into the road in town. Even now I don't remember what happened between being on the curb seeing this guy running towards me and then lying in the road looking at the sky. (Almost 12 years to the day in fact). God was with me that day - two inches over and I'd have been over the bonnet or over the roof.

I went through a stage of taking my friends to A&E but never going myself, I've taken friends for: broken wrist, broken elbow, broken toes and suicide attempt (this was under police escort).

I also went I slipped over on some ice outside work and I was still in a deal of pain when I finished work like 4 hours later :(

Thankfully although I'm accident prone I just end up with bruises or minor cuts.

Only once for a torn ligament in my ankle. Ouch. Hoping the new gig suites you well!
My husband has his side of the bath mat and I have mine. A bit of an unspoken respect for each other. ;)

Standing on the edge of the bath mat is one of the sweetest things I've ever heard. LOVE it.

I went as a kid because I was too busy water-coloring at table to be bothered to go potty...until i almost pottied on the floor. i ran to the bathroom and got my foot stuck under the door. ripped the nail right off my pinky toe, and broke it too. the worst pain of all, however, was my mom making me put a dress on before we went to the ER. what gives?!

Our twin baby girls were born @ Medical City in 1999 - little bitty girls brought us big, big love.
