Today's Letters: Dear Mr. Loerke, as we prepare for our trip to Uganda, one thing becomes more clear to me each day: this life we have together is such a *gift*. Dear Jack Bauer, looking forward to watching the premier of your new show on Fox tonight. Keeping my fingers crossed that you'll carry a satchel and phone CTU for backup. Dear Go Month (Get Organized Month), so far you've been marked by newly scrubbed hardwoods, a deep cleaned kitchen, and the tossing of all expired foods in our Frigidaire. Fresh starts are sometimes just what this girl needs. Dear Timothy James, your giving tree peace offerings are also the shiz. BAM!

For those of you who are comment shy on the blog, today's your day to put on your Wonder Woman (or Superman) skivvies and comment! We'd love to know A) your favorite song B) the most beautiful place you've ever visited and C) preferred toothpaste and D) occupation.

Tim's answers: Three Tree Town by Ben Howard, Alaska, TOM's Whole Care, Physician Assistant.
Em's answers: Re:Stacks by Bon Iver, Maui, Burt's Bees Multicare, Watermark Community Church Staff (for last 7 yrs) ... can you believe they let me work with kids??

Okay, your turn. We believe in you.

I'm not shy - felt that I had to join in though and break the "being the first" bubble lol.

A) your favorite song - toughie! Most played on my iTunes is Don't Rain on My Parade by Only Men Aloud (Welsh Male Voice Choir with a jazzy glee like twist). At the moment, Somebody That I Used to Know by Goyte ft Kimbra.

B) the most beautiful place you've ever visited - Wast Water in the Lake District - oh my life! It's so amazingly pretty and serene. Just what we needed when we went on holiday away from the craziness. Was good for meeting with God too.

C) preferred toothpaste - Erm I think I use Colgate something at the moment but I think I'm going to switch to Oral-B - I have to be careful which one I use as I've found that some make me feel nauseous in the morning - how random is that!

D) occupation - the day job is Customer Service Representative. Then again minus the work account I manage 4 Twitter accounts and 3 Facebook pages amongst other web based bits - I would like it, if this could pay the bills instead of the day job. But we'll see - it's what's in God's plan really

Love the Jack Bauer comment - we are so watching tonight. Saw him on Ellen and was hoping he would find the hidden terrorist in the audience (just for my sake). :)

Wonder Woman Skivvies, ON:
A) This is the hardest. I love music and my "favorite" song changes often. It depends on where I am emotionally and what song is speaking to me. So for now, "Beautiful Things" Gungor and "Dancing in the minefields" Andrew Peterson

B) Connemara, Ireland (I would move there now if I could)

C) Don't have a favorite, but love Burt's Bees lip stuff, might have to try the toothpaste.

D) Publishing

Definitely not shy...

Favorite Song: I love so much music and many times what's "favorite" depends on season, mood, activity, etc. But, like a rorschach test, the song that immediately popped in my mind, and one I consistently am moved by is "Hymns to the Silence" by Van Morrison.

Everyplace I have ever visited or lived has its own special beauty. I am drawn to the ocean and beaches and palm trees, though, more than mountains.

Toothpaste: whatever is on sale. The choice thing is ridiculous. Don't we all want healthy gums and clean, white teeth? The only choice should really be the flavor!

Currently enjoying the freedom to be a wife, mom, nonna, homemaker, friend and volunteer. I'm getting ready to move to Dallas, so my plate is very full of that right now. I'm a graphic designer, so if I had to find a job, I'd go looking in that area.
