{Today's Letters & National Pi Day!}

Wednesday, March 14, 2012

Today's Letters: Dear Mr. Loerke, since returning from our trip to Uganda you've taken shorter showers, fallen asleep mid sentence each day at 2pm, and asked if we could sponsor another kiddo. All three have proven to be quite sexy. Dear March, thanks for making open windows irresistible. Dear Grandpa Who Wrote His Name In Ketchup at Elevation Burger, you are one of the many reasons why there is still hope in this world. Dear Husband, Happy freaking National Pi Day! Last year's Apple Skillet Pi and our Homemade Vegan Sweet Potato Pi from the year before just don't compare to the awesomeness that is currently in our fridge. Nothing better than a slice of Key Lime Pi packed with a lime and a fist pump in honor of 3.14.

What's your favorite Pi? I still could eat my weight in this and this.

Bannoffee!!!!!!! That's my favourite! Or Mississippi Mud Pie! YUMMY in my tummy lol.

My Mum sponsors a little boy called Mussa - we're thinking about it as well :)

Lucky for my husband, we got married on Pi day 3 years ago! We had no clue about the significance at the time though. His groom's 'cake' were different pies. Which are his loves. Glorious coincidence!

Chocolate French Silk pies. Yum. With cold milk, I'm a happy girl.

That key lime pie is precious!
My favorite pie is Waffle House's triple chocolate. Small slice for only a dollar! Probably the most underrated thing in America.

I love my grandma's rhubarb pie. Unbeatable!

I've been so blessed by your pictures and thoughts from your trip to Uganda. I am confident that God is using your experience there for years and even generations to come.

Thank you for sharing your experience with us. :)

Oh boy!! Jet leg can just be brutal! Hope you both are adjusting okay.

On the topic of pi(e)... not a huge pan fan, although I can "choke" it down when necessary. ;o)

Hmmmm....chocolate cream pie...definitely. Okay, okay. You got me! It doesn't have to be pie. (head in hands) I'd eat a bumper if it were covered in chocolate cream. Maybe even a meatwad.

I was helping out in a math class that had us all bring Pie and I brought a homemade pumpkin pie and most of the others were all store bought. no one had mentioned eating my pie so I wondered what happened throughout the day, come to find out the math teacher had never had homemade pie and ate it all himself!!
