Today's Letters: Dear Mr. Loerke, this afternoon we get to pick up a special delivery at the Toyota dealership. I fully expect you to A) cry when you say good-bye to the Fart Box B) wear it's remaining hubcap around your neck for street cred and C) make over $12 from recycling the empty water bottles in your back seat. Dear Good 2 Go Taco, yesterday your Yardbird Salad made my inner chicken say buk buk buk buk bukka! Thanks for being worth the 20 minute drive for a Whole30 friendly lunch. Dear Nils Frahm, your latest album Felt has made me fall in love with the piano all over again. A perfect companion for my early morning reading. Dear Timothy James, to the moon! (In your new coche of course).

What's something new you've purchased lately (big or small), something you've eaten that's made you shimmy and shake, or something you've listened to that's made your heart full? Also, be sure and check back tomorrow for our last post about the Fart Box ... such a bittersweet day!

Is the new car going to be Far Box 2.0? Or will it have a completely new nickname?

I didn't so much purchase them as adopt them - we have two new furbabies called Owen and Sam - they are guinea pigs and are super cute! Mr Han keeps taking the mickey out of me because I talk to them like they can actually talk back or something.

Fart Box 2.0 - clearly I was too excited or something and didn't read back my comment before hitting submit!

I ate this incredibly tasty local granola. I was so happy to find something local, healthy and sustainable.

Today, a friend took me to a place for icecream-and said 'sorry'-as now I will be there A LOT more! Osteria in nairobi-you are my new fave. We went as I was meeting her baby girl...6 days old...and so enjoyed buying her pink things!

Learning to give gifts to my husband... bought some shirts from backcountry.com that he needed, but he appreciated them for far more than what they are. Win.

I think I might cry, juuuust a little, when its time to replace my college beater Stinky.

Its kind of been a love/hate relationship. But mostly love lately.

Have fun with your new wheels. :)

A new bargain from TJ Maxx...A black leather Ralph Lauren cross body. It makes me feel so much safer walking on my college campus knowing my purse can't be easily snatched... Plus I just love the bag! Its my little piece of luxury with its uber-soft leather.

The song I can't get enough of right now is "I Need You" by The Swift! For all the times I've failed, God's grace covers it ALL!
Joc, I like All Sons and Daughters too! I got some of their songs from noisetrade and they are excellent.

I just purchased some Nike Frees from Ebay for about $35..s.t.o.k.e.d. to have some good shoes for a sport I'm not a fan of but should probably get used to for World Race.

Last night my friends and I had a picnic outside with some of the best chicken salad in the world (maybe I made it, but that's not why it was so great).

AND
Music. Jimmy Needham's new album "If I Ever Needed Grace." It's too good for words.
OR... Seryn's "Untitled" - I could listen to it all day long.

I bought gas multiple times last week during my spring break trip to Florida! And while I may have felt like crying a little every time I filled up, the purchases were well worth it for spending a week on the beach!

NOOOOO...we can't say good bye to the fart box!

Have a question - I am a Veg, is there altered Whole 30 for us veggies who need beans for protein?

Bye bye Fart Box. :(

Newly purchased-much needed clothes for business trip to NYC. Hubby took me shopping. I never buy things for myself, hubby is so good to make sure I look good & professional for work trips.

My shimmy and shake food? Oooey gooey, pure awesomeness, sammys from Grill Cheeserie Food truck here in Nashvegas. BestEVER!

Hearing all 18 of my class of 4yr olds sing worship songs on Sunday-makes my heart full and running over.

SNOW. CONES. Oh my word I love them and the first stand opened here in OKC this weekend. It was phenomenal. You better believe I dominated my birthday cake snow cone because there is no other kind worth even trying. Secondly, the new Passion CD and particularly the You Revive Me track. Check it out. It is phenomenal.

My gracious family just got together and bought me a new Batmobile! (read: 2012 Subaru Outback, aka, ADVENTURE CAR.) He's green, his name is Berkeley and he is the best thing since bumper stickers.

Fist pump for new wheels and environmentally friendly manufacturing!

My husband and I have needed to cut back and work on purchasing less (including groceries which is what we spend most of our money on...food, of course), so we decided to sell one of our cars and learn to live with just one car. Now he bikes to work and we have to communicate more on when and where we will be places in case someone else needs the car. It's been awesome so far! And we were able to make a little extra money. It will definitely be a time we will tell our kids about when we talk about our first year of marriage. :)

1) bought a new enough for me Jeep grande Cher! Good thing bc my old car exploded the next day.
2) my daHubs' homemade, self-developed recipe of seasoned fries
3) overhearing an old man put a college girl's loaf of bread on his grocery tab, only to ask that she pay it forward.

Just today I bought a new pair of navy blue TOMS which made me really really happy. I love the idea that not only but also somebody else will benefit from that purchase. And I was throwing leg kicks and fist pumps last weekend after eating my grandma's homemade Meat Loaf. It was amazing :)

Be brave Mr. Loerke! I am sure you'll love your new car just as much as the old one :)

The bone marrow bread pudding at The Macintosh in Charleston, SC made me shimmy and shake. Goodness gracious that is the most delictible thing I've put in my mouth in months. Makes my heart happy when I think about it. So glad I tried it, despite the name.
