{Farmer's Market : Kansas City : Sept 2010}

"Dear Em, Just wanted you to know that today, Wednesday, I love you more than yesterday.  Let’s build a kayak together ... and use hand tools we make ourselves in our blacksmith shop, with white oak we grow on our farm, while we pick fresh blueberries in our garden.  Let’s!" - Papa

Proof that there are many things that can change a life ... a letter being one of them.
Do you have a favorite letter?
Here is one of mine.

My favorite letter is actually an apology from one of my very best friends. I read it every now and then to remind myself to show grace and forgive.

I look forward to reading your blog every single day...usually after I take attendance in my first hour class of 6th grade boys :) Thanks for putting a smile on my face even when I am about to go crazy!!

My roommates and I write notes on our mirrors all over the house. It's always a great reminder that cherishing each other is important!

This is so sweet! I love any letters from my hubs and kids. For anyone interested we picked up copies of Letters for Tomorrow...one for each child when we knew we were pregnant. Wrote letters throughout the pregnancy and beyond. I still write in them and when they turn 13 I share what I've written so far...I'm starting to run out of room in my eldest's. You can use the prompts...or just write whatever is on your heart! Love it!!
