{Morning Inspiration from Baroque}

One of my favorite classes I took in high school was jewelery making. It's where I broke countless saw blades and learned how to use a blowtorch, flux, and solder. Watching this reminds me of so many good things. What was your favorite class in high school / college? {Inspiration found at 1:40}.

I still wear the barrette you made me in that class. If face, wore it last week. Classic!

This reminds me of the new Portlandia skit: "she's making jewelry now!" http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=UBPT1pgByqc

I wish we had fun classes like that in high school. My favorite was Aztec History (or something similar) in college. Probably because I took it with my best friend and we made up songs to remember facts for the tests.

Anthropology: Food & Body Politic. So much goodness happened in that class--Omnivore's Dilemma, Blueberry Picking & Jam Making, Eating Kale & Caramelized Onions, & My Life Pretty Much Forever Changing.
