Dear Mr. Loerke PA-C, can you believe it's been 1 year since you graduated? Your PA reunion dinner this weekend was such a sweet reminder of just how far you've come. #soproudofyou. Dear Food Truck Fest, thanks for invading Dallas with over 30 food trucks on Friday. Our Korean Street Tacos, Double Brat, and Whoopie Pie went great with a side of curb. Dear Moonrise Kingdom, after waiting 5 months to see you you're finally here. As one reader stated, you will be the perfect mix of Swiss Family Robinson, Hook, and Little Miss Sunshine. Dear Timothy James, this weekend you took time to give the Exploder a bath and an oil change. This made me wanna freaking kiss your face. Thank you for loving me well!

Happy freaking Monday, Littles! What was the highlight of your weekend?? Several of you have asked how I've been doing at continuing my Whole30 journey. Friday was the first time in 6 weeks that I fell off the wagon. Ouch. I definitely paid the price, but how can a girl say no to a maple butter cream whoopie pie rolled in bacon?? Seriously. Back to eating rabbit food ...

Em and Tim Tam,

The highlight of my weekend was playing 123 holes of golf on Friday from 7am-7pm all in the name of charity.....and a sore back, arms, legs, feet, neck, etc. Myself and the other 28 players involved raised almost $90,000 for The First Tee of Fort Worth! Proud to be apart of something changing lives for so many kids.

Me and Mr Han celebrated our fifth wedding anniversary with a wander round the market and along the river - we went to see American Reunion at the cinema - ate pizza in the middle of the living room floor and then watched a bunch of TV and snuggled on the sofa!

Actually finding something fun to do in Vegas was the highlight of my weekend. Thanks to The Mob Museum in Vegas for existing and being totally worth the $10 admission.

1: The Chihuly exhibit at the Dallas Arboretum...simply stunning.

2. Hearing Captain America say "There is only One God, and He doesn't dress like that."

This weekend I celebrated the circle of life by attending a funeral, a baby shower, and a wedding all in one day. It was a wonderful reminder to cherish every moment of every day. I am pretty jealous of Food Truck Fest. Wish we had something similar in Shreveport.

The highlight of my weekend was getting to dedicate our newborn to the Lord on Mother's Day! What a sweet memory we will cherish. Then my husband (who typically does not do well on gift giving so we usually don't give big gifts to lift the pressure) gave me gift card for a massage. Lovely!

Food Truck Fest looks like such a blast! My city is (sadly) Food Truck Fest-less :(

I spent the weekend with my sweet daddy who is recovering from surgery. He is always everybody else's rock, so it was nice to be his for a while!

I'm glad you enjoyed your little fall off the wagon, Em :) I'm interested to hear how you keep up your Whole30 lifestyle. You can do it!

Hiking all day at the Gorge, climbing on top of Court House Rock, then chowing down on the best pizza of my life at Miguel's with all the other rock climbing junky's.
All so good but definitely wishing I shared that bacon whoopie pie with you Em.
