{Sayonara Dallas!}

Ethiopia. It's finally here! This morning I fly from Dallas to Atlanta to meet up with my team, then from ATL to Amsterdam, and then from Sudan to Addis. Pretty sure I see dry eyes, shared headphones with new friends, and lots of vertical napping in my future. Can't wait. Each day I'll be uploading photos and posts on the blog, so be sure and check back for updates! Also feel free to follow me on Instagram and Twitter.

Please help us spread the word!
1. Tweet about the trip! – I'm so excited to be partnering with @food4thehungry ... such a stellar org.
2. Share my posts and the other bloggers’ posts on Facebook
3. Sponsor a Child

Here's to zero more sleeps and to learning from those who are much happier with less than what I have.

Hey Emily,
I know we have never met, but I feel like I know you through your blog. :-) I just realized your going on the same trip as one of my old friends. Lindsey Nobles is a friend of mine. She use to live in Birmingham. She is so much fun! I know y'all will hit it off. Saying a prayer for y'all to have a safe trip. Can't wait to see pictures. Tell Lindsey I said hello! :-)

More than the first black cherry toms of the season & warm beds that remind you that simplicity is beautiful.
