Dear Mr. Loerke, this weekend you ate your weight in wibs at The Salt Lick, paddled the Blanco River, and took afternoon naps in your Kammok. So thankful for your dudes and how a weekend spent with them can rejuvenate your soul. Dear Gunther Holtorf, for the past 23 years you've traveled over 500,000 miles in your Mercedes Benz G Wagon documenting your journey with two old 35mm Leica cameras. Can we be friends? This video of you has changed me forever. Dear Brookies, Browns, and Bows, I'm thankful you don't live in ugly places. Thanks for giving us an excuse to travel with friends to New Mexico and Asheville this Fall. Dear Timothy James (who always gets two letters), more than the stirring in my heart to see the world and the forgiveness we extend each other each day. I love you.

Happy freaking Monday, Homies! Anyone else already looking forward to Fall? Flannels, leaf angels, and pumpkin everything oh myyyy! What do you love most about Fall?? Ps- If you've signed up to sponsor a child through Food for the Hungry would you mind letting me know? I wanna talk with you! Thanks!

What don't I love about the fall hmmm......I love everything about fall. College football is back on and things with the world are right again from Sept.-Jan. Drives with my windows down, the smell of the brisk air, the thought of fried autumn pie getting closer to my tummy, gathering with family, beanie hats, fireplaces, wrapping up in blankets,I used to say my birthday but the older I get the more I dread it! Ha I love it all!

Flannel, jeans, long sleeves (ha slant rhyme!), trees that turn orange, the smells of crisp autumn air and bonfires, and last, but certainly not least: the new Mumford and Sons AND Avett Brothers albums come out in September! Woohoo!! They are the perfect soundtrack for Fall.

Yes yes yes fall! Fall is the most beautiful time of year in San Francisco!

You inspired me to sponsor a child and I got my first letter just a few days ago. Abdul in Ethopia, 5 years old and cute as can be! I cant wait to send him a letter this week. :)

Fall is my favorite season. I don't need them anymore, but it makes me want to go buy schools supplies. And the best part... that crispness in the air. The sun shines just a little bit differently through the trees.

I have been trying so hard to just enjoy the warm weather since we have such a long winter in Wisconsin, but I still can't wait for fall! Can't wait for pumpkin lattes and wearing my tall boots!

You inspired me to sponsor a child a few months ago. At the time my three little boys kept saying how they wanted a sister so badly. We sponsored sweet Sarah, and I told my guys we would take her on as a sister. We love it when she sends us her art, the most detailed crayon drawings. It's awesome.

I live in east Tennessee and it is beautiful in the Fall! It is my favorite time of year and not because my bday is in October. :P I love picking out pumpkins, driving down country roads and seeing the leaves change, having bonfires at night while sipping Apple cider...love it!

If you travel to Asheville in the fall, I recommend ziplining. Navitat Canopy Tours have an awesome zipline that takes you thru the mountains. Beautiful in the fall. Just sayin.

I love that I will be getting married this Fall and that last Fall my fiance proposed with a pumpkin before Halloween :) 75 days until I am a wife!

We finally signed up to sponosor Ahmed in Ethiopia this morning! Looking forward to interacting with him via mail- although am a little confused about how to do so based on the website. Any tips would be great!

Last week, I signed up to sponsor two kids through Food for the Hungry. A combination of being challenged by Watermark's 30K Millionaire series and reading your blog inspired me to seek God's will for the money He's generously entrusted me. Thank you.

Em,
Fall is my fave and nothing beats smart wool socks on my feets, scarves around my neck and delicious apple treats in the oven! Also thanks to you my fall will include my ears being delighted by the sounds of the beautiful Ben Howard in Philly in the end of September!
Also this fall I look forward to writing letters to my new sponsor child, Chali, through Food for the Hungry while sitting outside on my grandmothers old quilt.

What an incredible man! The photos in the video are AMAZING!!! Not taking a sponsorship and not to use lots of technic - UNBELIEVABLE. We don't say "Proud to be german" like you often hear "proud to be american"... because of Germanys history people nowadays still just don't say it. But in this case... I am proud that G√ľnther and Otto are German ;)
Sad though that his wife died.

Greetings to you from Borkum-a small and windy but beautiful german island in the NorthSea.

I've gotta say as much I've loved seeing Ethopia through your eyes, I'm so, so glad the letters are back. Love 'em!

I'm not rushing Fall because these last six weeks of summer are going to be really great. I'm looking forward to fall bringing open windows, crisp air flowing through house, football and snuggling (because those go together for everyone right?), my guy making chili, a squash & stout extravaganza, tea and yeah... that covers it for now. Fall...I love you, next year we're going to celebrate you by tying the knot among your colors.

You inspired me to sponsor a sweet 15 year old girl in Ethiopia. My heart feels blessed! :)

I can't wait for fall. I dislike summer, in general, but it's especially bad in Vegas.
