{The Wildest Dream}

Monday, September 24, 2012

This weekend Tim and I watched The Wildest Dream, a documentary about George Mallory, the first man to summit Mt Everest in 1924. The film documents the discovery of his body 75 years later by climber, Conrad Anker, who later returns to Everest to help discover the mystery surrounding Mallory's death. Such an inspiring story! That said, Siskel & Loerke give it two thumbs up and encourage you to add this to your freaking Netflix queue!

PollenArts Giveaway Winners Announced! {be sure and email me to claim your major award}
Katie Ann: What to love about fall. Hmmmm...all of it?? But I do so love moist, rich chocolate chip pumpkin bread and warm wooly blankets!
Anna: Fall is my favorite season! I love pumpkin everything! Pumpkin candles, pumpkin pie, cute little babies dressed up as squishy little pumpkins, marshmallow pumpkins... well you get the idea!
Meredith: College football, pumpkin spice lattes, chocolate chip pumpkin bread, sweaters, cooler weather, and stepping on crunchy leaves.

...this is one of my favorite documentaries of all time!

beautifully filmed, truly an incredible story*

love you more than the epic moment of one finding what they've been looking for! (such as initials that tell a story from an undershirt 75 years later....)

thank you for the reminder of passion, adventure and discovery!
