Dear Mr. Loerke, Yesterday you accepted a job in Lou. YOU ACCEPTED A FREAKING JOB IN LOU. Holy sheetballs. This calls for cupcakes. Dear Hank, you like to steal our socks, take us on walks, and pee on our neighbors grill. You're good for me. Dear Thanksgiving, nine days until you're finally here. {Nine days too long in my opinion}. Dear Timothy James, Feel free to drive Griswold while I'm gone this week. Just choke the engine and whisper sweet nothings into his carburetor so he starts. Feed him Aunt Bethany's jello and he'll fly.
Favorite pair of Fall kicks? You'll find me in my Bean boots from now until April. Happy Tuesday, y'all!

Like any self-respecting girl from Maine, it's my Bean boots. (Been wearing the same ones for 17 years.)
Griswold. Great name! Make sure you have many family vacations in that beast!
The boots I got married in make for great fall shoes. Love them!
Exciting times! Enjoy your celebratory cupcakes!
Congratulations Tim on finding a job! I want to become a physician assistant and I'm interested in what position you ended up taking and how difficult was finding a job that matched your expectations for autonomy and the practice.
Arielle Fine, thank you! I took a job with an emergency department. Finding a position varies from state to state. What I have found is that the positions you want are not posted online, so you have to go looking for them. I called around to various ERs until sometime popped up. For Kentucky, it was a difficult hunt. I had to hunt, be persistent, request networking, etc... I am very pleased with the job I got! Feel free to email with any questions. Em will pass it along to me. Best of luck!
This is my favorite letter you've ever written. The end.
Welcome to Kentucky! :). How exciting for the both of you!
Sad to see you go from Texas but happy for your new beginnings! Cheers!!!
I just threw a major fist pump (sorry no photo) for both of you!! CONGRATULATIONS!!!! This is the second bit of great news I've had today; my dad just came out of a successful triple bypass surgery...thank the Lord for his blessings and mercy!
Can't wait to read your next chapter : )
