{Today's Letters}

Wednesday, December 05, 2012

Dear Mr. Loerke, Talking to you through the bathroom window at 4am yesterday made me smile. {Insert #ERnightshift and #puppydiaries here}. Dear Milk Chocolate, I wish you were a vegetable. That's all. Dear Friends, Your letters, encouragement, and presence last night made us feel so known. Thank you for faithfully loving us over the years! Dear Timothy James, Recently you've watched my heartbox struggle to balance both grief and joy in regards to moving. Thank you for your patience through the tears. Here's to being brave and living our dreams instead of protecting our days.

Happy Wednesday, friends! I hope it's filled with lots of good things, esp chocolate.

Em, I love this post. I can so relate to your feelings about moving! The hubs and I are moving from NYC -> Portland, OR in five weeks and I am at once elated and grief-stricken. What will I do without my beautiful community of friends?!

Have new adventures, make ANOTHER beautiful community, and remember that the old ones will always be there. Congrats on being brave and living out the dreams of your heartbox!

Like Jessica I can totally relate to the mixed feelings that come with moving. I know I'll be moving soon but I don't know yet where I'll end up. It makes the goodbyes really hard although I'm really excited for the new city that I'll call home soon...wherever that might be ;-)
You seem so brave about moving and I'll try to be just as brave and open to it! Yes, to good friends and old memories and yes, to new opportunities and making new friends! Happy Wednesday!

I have moved from my homes a couple of times now. The greatest thing is that you make new communities. And I always have people to go back to. I have several couches I know I can crash on if I want to go back to either of my other homes.

I just wanted to say a simple thank you for reminding me what kind of wife I want to be. n

I know how you feel. But I have found with each move comes true growth and the appreciation for your new community will be that much stronger. You two (scratch that) three, have so much to offer...Lou is SO lucky!!

good luck with the move! i know it can be hard to move away from everything familiar but take heart in the fact that it's where God wants you and that's what's important. besides, sounds like you have a pretty awesome boy roommate to keep you company
