Dear Mr. Loerke, tomorrow night we celebrate 10 years in Dallas with friends. We. Are. Blessed. Dear Poor Man's Toffee, I'm not ashamed to admit that I've tucked you under my arm like a life preserver after a shipwreck. You're the perfect comfort crack during the holiday season. Dear Twinner, Only 18 more days until we drive around in Griswold looking at Christmas lights. Can't wait to deck the harrs with boughs of horry with you. Dear Timothy James, you are my afternoon kiss when I get home and the man who makes our pup smell like fabric softener. Thank you for loving both of us so well.

Happy freaking Monday, littles! How was your weekend? Sorry posts on the blog were a little sparse last week. I took some time off to go on one final road trip through Texas with my dear friend Molly. Will post pictures of our adventure soon! Ps- What's your favorite sweet to eat over the holidays?

Ginger-anything.

Christmas Wassail is also a must.

Currently Griswolding our home, you may can see it from Dallas. We are in Nashville. :)

Favorite holiday treat: white-chocolate covered oreos, without a doubt.

Also, can I just say that Today's Letters is another daily dose of happy for my husband and me? The posts can always make us smile or laugh--and I always leave with a jolt of creativity. So, basically, thanks for that.

This line cracked me up, "I'm not ashamed to admit that I've tucked you under my arm like a life preserver after a shipwreck." ha!

Favorite sweet treat? My mom's toffee and my Aunt Karen's caramels are always a hit. I also make a pretty awesome ginger snap.

Favorite sweet treat? My grandma's Christmas cookies! Hands down the best cookies ever. She makes different kinds every year but they always taste delicious!

we used to make this in college. we called it "crack" because it is so stinkin' addictive and delish.
