Dear Mr. Loerke, at 6:07 each morning the neighbor's rooster let's me know a new day is dawning. Best. alarm. clock. ever. Dear Oscar's Hardware, thanks for the reminder that in the midst of winter lies within us all an invincible summer. #radioflyer Dear Pottery Class, tonight begins an 8 week adventure of channeling my inner Demi Moore. Here's to hoping Oda Mae can save me of any clay slinging disasters. Dear Timothy James, less than a baker's dozen days until you're in Lou. Get here already.
Happy Monday, sweet friends! How was your weekend? Hope it was filled with trying new things and spending time with people who make you feel known and loved.

:) I love how you ended this... and yes, I spent the weekend with people who make me feel known and loved.
I can't wait to hear about your pottery class, I hope it's fantastic! I'm also looking forward to hearing about your new home, new city, and new life. Best of luck to you!
Fantastic! What a great alarm!Would love to take pottery lessons, enjoy!
In the summer time I always get woken up by the frog that lives in our pond. Best kind of alarms for sure!
Wish you a great second week in Lou and that time will fly until Tim gets to join you!
Happy Monday!
We used to have a flock of wild turkeys (or is it called a gaggle?) that had their morning meeting behind our house at 7:02 every morning. Now that it's winter, though, the meetings have been suspended... I never thought I'd miss all those gobbles!
I have a feeling that the alarm clock is actually one of our hungry girls! We gotta go to Fresh Start ASAP. They need grit & feed.
More than honey ginger lemon tea made at 2am by your best & shared buckeyes in the biscuit. #loerkesinlou
I'm happy to say that I spent yesterday reconnecting with a room mate from 41 years ago...We talked for a good couple of hours! It was wonderful... Also, so glad to have happened upon you two...
Val in Kansas
I so miss hearing the agrarian alarm clock. No roosters in town allowed!
I'm so glad you're in KY. My heart is happy for you.

I got to spend the weekend cuddling my four day old nephew. Such a blessing to celebrate new life!
Enjoy your pottery class1
Welcome to Louisville! I've lived just outside of Louisville my whole life and I wouldn't want to be anywhere else. Make sure you hit up O'Shea's Irish Pub on Baxter Avenue if you like good pub food and fun beer. You won't be disappointed. :)

Haha, maybe roosters in the DR are different than the ones Stateside because those things are the bane of my existence. Not because they wake me us at 6m but because they wake me us at 2, 2:30, 3, 3:30, 4, 4:30, etc, etc, etc...
Happy for your move! Buen provecho! : )
anony, so glad! there's nothing better.
