“Be curious. Try new things. What people call intelligence just boils down to curiosity.”
- Aaron Swartz
The above quote inspired me to take a 6 week pottery class that started at the beginning of the year.
I enjoyed it so much that I signed up for another 6 week class that starts on Monday!
I never expected to fall in love with pottery at age 32.
A great reminder to never stop being curious and trying new things.
Happy Wednesday, brave ones.

Wow,you clever thing.pottery is on my list
Such an inspirational quote - I would love to try a pottery class, or maybe even glass blowing :) (Great Mug!)
So beautiful. Pottery is something I've been wanting to try for a long time. This is inspiring and your pottery is lovely.
Love it! My friend and fellow reader of your blog (Patty)mentioned trying pottery after you blogged about it. I told her to go for it, but I'm out. Mama's got too many hobbies. I'm fully loaded for now.
Just found your blog. Love.

I used to know a potter and I always wished I could throw a whole set of dishes that I used everyday...8 plates, cups, saucers, bowls. That would be so cool!
Bravo, Emily!!
Beautiful cup! Love the quote... Love the creative life!
Keep Creating!

Looks like its a lot of fun!! Creating with the hands makes for an enjoyable and rewarding experience. I'm happy to see you staying curious. Its something I'm in the process of myself. :) Enjoy!
I wanna make a coffee mug! Fun!
I remember when 30 seemed like the age when I would have it all together and be an "adult". Ha! I am 33 this year and am having fun creating myself everyday!
I read a quote on a dish towel once:
"Life is not about finding yourself, it is about CREATING yourself." It sticks with me.
Super amazing job! I absolutely love this quote; my quest is to try to promote curiosity in the classroom and beyond into life... Thanks for sharing!
This is so fun! I love that you did it and I am so happy you enjoyed it and signed up for more! I took a beginners ballroom class this last month and had a blast!
You. Inspire. Me.
Love You.

I hope you are so pleased and proud of your pieces, they are all so beautiful! Well worth the class and I can see why you're going back for me! l love getting messy to make pretty :]
You could sell these! 100%! So great!
Oh my goodness! You are SO good at this! They are so awesome! :)
Your handles are beautiful. I spent several hours in the studio at school trimming 11 pieces, and putting handles on 5 of them. I always struggle with handles. Pulling is a real art. Keep up the good work!
