{Ready for Spring}

Tuesday, February 12, 2013

While walking yesterday I thought about all the reasons why I'm looking forward to Spring;
Runs at Cherokee Park, getting my hands in the dirt, moving into our new home, farmers markets, ordering our bees, open windows, camping at the Gorge, hanging our porch swing, after supper bici rides, mowing our lawn ... so many wonderful things to embrace with the changing of the seasons.
What are you most looking forward to this Spring?

Flip flips, grass between my toes, birds, fresh cut grass smell, flowers blooming like crazy.

I'm looking forward to spring because... I want to explore my new home when the sun is shining, fleamarkets, no winter coats anymore, riding my bike, farmer's markets, wearing my toms, a trip to the baltic sea and fresh flowers in my home!

Summer cleaning and airing out of our home; mowing my own grass; hanging wind chimes; hand-washing cars; going for long walks and bike rides; building campfires; starting my/our first garden; having time to be more serious about exercising, making music, going places, doing things, and recording it all through photo and video.

Chacos without socks, vibram fivefingers, trail riding, dry weather, sunshine, and new growth.

by "the gorge" do you mean "the red?" I was there for the first time about a year and a half ago and I have to say that the motherload (and the hike in) was on my top 5 coolest things i've seen.

I love spring in Lou...especially in our neighborhood. Looking forward to walks to Blue Dog and outdoor lunches after church at the Grape Leaf.

p.s. Went to Quills last weekend and looked for you. No such luck this time. :)
