Dear Mr. Loerke, only Twinner would send us an antique door stop for our new house, sanded smooth for using with bare feet in the summer time. We. are. loved. Dear Papa, yesterday you asked if I wanted to go sledding. You live in Kansas City. I live in Kentucky. There is no dad cuter than you. Yep. Dear River, no depth perception means you often fall of the couch when you are napping. This always makes me laugh. Dear Timothy James, a few days ago I chased the chickens for 20 minutes before realizing they'll run back into their coop if I just leave the door open. Mother clucker. #bungalowlife

Happy Friday, brave ones! What's something that has made you laugh this week? Here's to a weekend of finding many reasons to do so.

I've finally found out where I'll be moving this year and that made my laugh, cry and dance all at the same time :) It's wonderful how everything turns out the way it's supposed to when we allow ourselves to have a little faith.
Have a happy weekend!

my co-workers! They've been such a blessing and we have giggled about so many ridiculous things. This week was silly and joyful in so many ways.

This week has kind of been a sad one, actually. My husband lost a friend very suddenly (his wife is only 21, and they had been married 6 months). His sister had a baby the same day. Crazy. That baby is a reminder that life always has joy, even amidst the sadness.

I have totally done that with our chickens! As soon as the sun even starts setting they are back in the coop. :) They are fun and kind of silly that way.

I hope you don't have any trees around, at my family's farm the chickens have their own coop but prefer to sleep on the trees. It gets kind of tiring "throwing" chickens back into the coop, so we just leave food there. That works! ;)

My best friend reminded me of a funny memory from our sophomore year of college, and I spent the rest of the night laughing. It was nice to go to bed with a huge smile on my face!

My 45# dog curling up like a cat on a throw pillow or the back of the couch or lounge chair to nap. She keeps my laughing everyday!
